Ive played here a few times, and you can get $22 hot deals if you are flexible on time. At this price, this is a great course. If youre a novice golfer or you dont want to spend too much money, its a great place to go. Its true that the Olde Course is in better condition, but its also busier, and I actually prefer the Karakung for being a bit more interesting, and for its rolling hills. Some of the earlier reviews suggested that the course is in bad condition, and whilst it could still use some work, its very playable. The back 9, in particular, are a lot of fun.

Its been very long time since Ive played here, but I was impressed at how well the course was. There are some really challenging holes and tricky par 3s. The fairways and greens were in very good shape. The one issue with this course, and Cobbs old course, is that it doesnt drain very well. The sand traps were half water hazard and half packed sand. So if you go, check the forecast for the week prior. Other wise, youll have a good time on a not so easy course. Good luck!

I have been playing here for over 40 years. I have seen the course at its best and at its worst. The latest superintendent (2 yrs now) has done a tremendous job getting this course in respectable playing condition. A great value and a challenging test. The only bad thing is it gets more play and we no longer have the course to ourselves. The secret is out!

I would say it was a little better than okay for a public course. The greens were very green and challenging. For my first time there I was pleasantly surprised. There were some rough patches of grass here and there course but overall it was in pretty good shape not neglected. For the price I dont think you can get a better deal will definitely go again

I read all the bad reviews so I wasnt expecting much. However I was pleasantly surprised!! The course wasnt in bad shape at all. You have to cross busy Lansdowne AV and Cardington AV. But for $35 we had a pretty good day!

Cant beat this course for 35.. it has come along way in the past few years. Great greens fairways are cut and new ball washers at all holes. Putting $$ into the course and it shows.

For being the secondary course, its in good condition. The greens are very good here. I like it because its inexpensive and I can usually play in under 3 hours.

In much better shape than I would expect for a philadelphia public course. Almost all par 4s. Not as challenging as the "olde course".

Not a bad course for the area, definitely could use better upkeep asking $50 a round for the old course with cart on a weekday

Decent course fair prices , if you are a duffer it is fine . If you are a better golfer this course will feel little shoddy.
