I hadnt hung out much in Manayunk before, but always wanted to check it out more often, since I live right across the bridge in South Jersey. This gave me the perfect excuse to do just that, and take my Mom on a Mothers Day outing for the food tour. There were about 7 stops on the food tour, the stops were all fantastic! Our tour guide, Jim, was awesome and gave great history of the area as well as helpful hints of what else to do in the area, and Philly restaurants. I have a food allergy that they were able to accommodate, and I really enjoyed all the food!! We spent about 2 hours after the tour ended just walking around Manayunk and poking around all the cute shops.

If youre looking for a fantastic way to discover or re-discover Manayunk, PA, Chew Philly Food Tours is awesome! Ive been on this tour twice (I live locally and brought my out-of-town guests the second time because I loved the tour that much). The food is excellent and they can accommodate most dietary restrictions if you just let them know ahead of time! The tour guides are funny and well-informed with lots of great stories and historical facts to make it an overall awesome experience. I highly recommend!

My husband and I LOVED this tour! Hes quite the foodie and hard to impress, but we thoroughly enjoyed (and devoured) all of the food on the tour. The portions were perfect and included a good variety, the guide was very informative and personable, and Manayunk is a super cute area to walk around. Overall the tour was a great experience - Id highly recommend for those visiting Philly for the first time, as well as locals looking for something fun and different to do.

My husband and I moved to Manayunk last fall, and we signed up for the tour as a way to get to know our neighborhood a little better. We absolutely loved this tour! Our guide was fantastic, and he gave us some of the history of the area as well. All the food we had was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour, whether youre a local or just visiting the area!

Great food, informative tour! Learned about the history of Manayunk and the background of the restaurants visited. Good mix of old restaurants and new. Just enough food - I was pleasantly full at the end but not completely stuffed. You get water at one of the stops, but its not quite enough for a hot day - bring a water bottle!

Hands down 100% worth every penny. If youre second guessing - STOP. DO IT. Chris Milano is probably one of the most fabulous individuals Ive ever had the pleasure of encountering. Stop comparing. Do the Mission District tour. Thats literally all I can say. Every step is an adventure and Chris is AMAZING. No regrets.

Great experience. Learned a lot about Philadelphia and went to some fabulous food locations. Enjoyed the Italian tomato pie, Philly pretzels, cheesesteak, cappuccino, AND red velvet cupcake & pumpkin cheese cake. It was a great way to learn about Manayunk and make us want to return for a longer visit.
