I have been using this facility for several years and found it excellent for dinner, brunch or holidays. This Mothers day I was totally disappointed. My reservation was either in someone else s name, or on a slip of paper that disappeared, or, as I was told , I made "the reservation too early". Twelve adults and children waited while a table was erected and set. Additionally, the table proved to be too small and a second table was brought and set. Most of the Mothers Day celebration was spent waiting for a table or standing in a single service line waiting for food. Families had little time to converse and enjoy each others company. I noted that the line wove around a table set for 12 that remained empty throughout the 11 oclock seating. Maybe that was my table??? The menu was standard diner fare lacking any wow factor. The table service personnel were very pleasant under the circumstances but of course limited to drinks and table clearing. I have been wowed at this establishment. I have recommended it to friends for weddings and businesses for meetings. I have brought out of town guests for dinner or brunch. I was devastated and asked by name to see the manager. I was informed that the establishment was under new management. It would seem that I need to look for a new establishment and withdraw my recommendations to friends and relatives.

Golden Oaks has the atmosphere for a very nice venue. Very disappointed in the quality and service of the food. The flatbread served to my party of 40 was unacceptable. Not enough food served due to this. No waitress to attend to our party. Had to ask for everything. Served cake with plates and no utensils. Quesadillas were dry & no condiments like salsa or sour cream served with it. Food was awful!

Great course lay out with tons of character and elevation change. Fun to play and freshly challenging. Average plus conditions. Very weird around clubhouse. Poor design at first tee and putting green make for traffic jams. I witnessed two arguments between staff and players which was bizarre. I noticed they were unfriendly, so I imagine the staff is pissed off, so beware.

This is a great layout, with generous fairways and challenging par 3s across water. The price cant be beat for this quality of course either. Unfortunately, we played it on a very cold day and could only complete 9 holes. Will definitely come back and highly recommend to all golfers visiting the area.

Ive only gone to the restaurant at Golden Oaks but the food has been good and sometimes great while service has always been strong. During the winter it doesnt get much traffic so its a quick seat and quick serve for the family. Plenty big enough for large groups. Enjoyed the prime rib!!

I played the course with my father and it was very scenic and in great shape. He plays all over the country and thought this was a hidden gem and great value. Lunch afterwards was excellent. Apparently there is a new chef and a new menu started today. Ill definitely be back.
