Mansion and grounds from the second half of the 19th century. The interpreters take you into the history of the family. The rooms are decorated with genuine family artifacts, and every effort is made to replicate them as they appeared in photographs or historic records. An interesting trip back in time. There are insider tours given a few times a year that take you into the attic and basement, as well as the standard tour rooms and buildings. There are also seasonal events. Interesting place.

My wife and I visited Villa Louis 3 years ago while on vacation. If you like history and seeing how the wealthy spent their fortunes this is a nice stop. If we are ever in this area again we would take the tour again. This home reminded us of Belle Meade plantation near Nashville
