Very nice maritime history of the area. Its free with a place for donation. We gave $5 for out group of 5. This stop is a 5 to 10 min walk from the main areas of Bayfield. So its worth the time to take a quick tour and take in the history. Total Time in the museum will take you as little as 10 mins to 1 hour if you read everything. Conclusion: its worth a stop and its free.

Worth the visit if youre strolling around in Bayfield. Interesting section on fishing traps, shipwrecks, knots and boat building. Look for a tiny wooden boats maker shop just behind the museum!
