I like the High Dive. Its a good place to catch local shows. Ive had a few friends play gigs here and Ive enjoyed it. They occasionally do punch cards, which are a great deal. I recommend getting one if given the opportunity. It is also located in a great spot around other bars, so you can go to another spot pre- or post-show. I am giving it four stars because the prices for beer and liquor are a little high.

The High Dive hosts any range of garage- to not-quite-labeled- band. It reads like a dive, but the retro neon, array of on-tap beers, and shortlist of fine cocktails proves otherwise. Any night theres a show, there are three, and for the cost of roughly two beers or less, thats a lot of music. Several friends bands have started out here, so the High Dive holds a special place in my heart.

The food is always good. The cocktail list is strong, the beer selection is great, the location is cool, the staff are always fun but above all the place has a great vibe, everyone seems to be having a good time, there are regulars, its a good spot for watching sports or pre-drinking before a Giants game, and they do lots of good branded tshirts.

Small, not at all divey bar. Great place for shows, because you can get incredibly close to the musicians. Cover was reasonable, $8 advance, $10 door. The bartender was nice, and they even serve nonalcoholic beer if youre into that! There isnt tons of seating, so come early and stake out a space if you dont want to stand.

Dive bar. Everything is way to expensive. Bartenders are nice but way to money hungry. Watch your change sitting on the bar. Itll get nabbed up without question. Avoid the $4. Charge for meat on the Nachos. You wont get any anyway. Music was excellent Place was clean. Service was quick.

Had my birthday bash here last Friday 4.15.17, freaking awesome! ! About 20 of us hung out all night til about 1 am. Its so intimate but not suffocating. We saw three bands and enjoyed every moment of our time there. The drinks were good and I had the time of my life! Best bday ever!!

Awesome room, great sound guy, Nick, and the shaved-headed bartender is low key amazing. He is a dream. Refilling my soda without me asking, and he seems like hes everywhere takin care of everything in the room, running tacos, taking empty plates, grabbing drink orders. Da best.

Very cool place, really liked the atmosphere, and was very happy that there was a super helpful dude working at the door who let me know the route I was taking home was safe enough for a solo female from out of the area :) Also was really excited about the water being out :)

Good spot for local music. Bands start an hour after advertised, drinks are good. Dont ever order food here...ever. While "next door" may seem appealing and convenient, to need 30 minutes to create 2 tacos within 20 minutes of the doors opening is unacceptable.

All the staff was friendly, especially the doorman, he really made a great impression (super nice). The band line up kicked butt. We were looking for rocking music at a good price and we found it. We will definitely be going back very soon.

Had a fantastic time here on New Years Eve with 80s Invasion. Lots of party people and the vibe was fun. I didnt witness any drama which is always good. Just lots of people having a good time - exactly what you want on NYE.

Overall the venue was great. I brought ear plugs and was able to enjoy the mosh pit without being part of it. Excellent EP release for Devils Hunt Me Down

Pretty good venue for live shows with very efficient service. Cover charges are always a bummer but worth it to see local live bands.

Best rock venue in Fremont, maybe even in all of Seattle. Great stage, perfect audio, friendly staff and a busy schedule!

Usually has some good bands but Im not wild about the long layout which makes it difficult to get a drink etc.
