Beautiful park! The family and I visited here in February 2017. It was raining most of the day and then in the afternoon the sun came out so we stopped for the playground and to see the lake from Mercer Island. My kids had a blast on the playground equipment (5yo boy and 2yo boy). The main playground is a bit advanced for a 2 year old and he ended up getting bonked a couple of times on the merry go round and the angled climbing bar, but he was okay. There is a great trail along the water that leads to the dog area from the playground. The historical buildings are really cool to check out as well. I think well be back here a lot. Bonus: If you play PokemonGO there are 2-3 stops and a gym here.

Not great for small dogs. There are very few off-leash areas and even fewer with water access. Although the park is nice, I was disappointed to find that this park is exactly like the others and isnt really dog friendly or all that safe at all. You and your dogs must transverse large slick rocks to get down to the water. It is a small area of access which is overwhelmed if there are more than a few large dogs. It seems there are no places for the little ones who also like to swim and play; rock and gravel at every dog park. Seattles dog friendly slogan is lip service. Very discouraging.

Decently sized park, with a little bit of everything for most people. Easily accessible from the freeway, next to the community center, and a walkable park. The dog park gets the job done to have a place to let your pup run about leash free. A place for those of you who own about to tie up and hang out. The beach area is decent, could use some more tables. Plenty of field space for people to set up badminton, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, etc. Even has an outdoor stage/ampitheater if youre looking for a place to put on a staged event.

We were there at the dog park around 9:30 or so on a weekday and there were a handful of dogs all playing in and around the water. Owners all seemed conscientious and aware which is always nice. Relatively small park but is very nice nonetheless with a smattering of trees and of course the water access is huge. Ultimately we stayed about an hour and only a couple of other dogs remained for that time, so the activity was a little disappointing but overall great park!

It is amazing to visit this fantastic relaxing part with 3/4 mile of water front. Nearby waterfront is filled with multi-million dollar houses, some with million dollar yacht. Park is very well maintained, it is a wonderful place to go with kids, walk your dogs, or just to have walk along the waterfront trail. From the east and north side of the waterfront, Bellevue and I90 bridge are nice view, at the west end, Downtown Seattle is at a not-too-far horizon.

A great place to let your doggo go hoggo, play on some swingsets, or go to the concrete bathroom. Did you know that theres a staircase that leads you on top of the bathrooms? Absolutely amazing! But the bestest great of the part of the park has to be the Burbanks. They are just so carefully crafted with Luther always kept in mind. Probably the most great park of them all, with the perfectest views.

This is such a great park! I love to bring my dog here to swim and play with other dogs at their dog park (they also have an area for small and shy dogs). It is never overcrowded, and they have events at thr park as well. Nice views of Seattle too. Definitely worth VB the visit. The only downside is that parking is limited, especially during weekends.

I love this park! There are multiple play structures for kids, play fields, an incredible earth art to run around, tennis courts, dog parks, the historic boys school and cow barn, the out door theater and as of lately they have done a great job developing the northern beach. There is parking on the south end of the park and the middle point.

My newly toddling toddler loves the rubberized surface (wood chips are tough with youre just learning, and like to eat wood chips). Lots of climbing structures of different heights and sizes, lots of slides. Very little shade at the actual playground. We havent explored the rest of the park, but the playground is worth driving for.

Love this park and right on the water too. Lots of trails to walk and places to have a picnic. They also have a dog park off leash area so that you can let your dog socialize with other dogs. I also loved that the dog area was right next to the water and my dog got a chance to enjoy the cool water on the hot summers day.

Easily one of my favorite places to bring my dog. Pretty cool for people. Parking lot gets kind of packed so come early or just be patient and wait for parking. Or park in the backup lot of you dont mind walking a little extra. Also a great playground if you have kids. Lots of grass to put out a blanket and eat/drink

perfect park? so many things to do here, underground tunnels for the kids, zip line, playforts, picking blackberries, dog park, tons of waterfront, free docks to tie up your boat for the day or swim from(not officially encouraged), tennis courts, large lawns. You can spend a lot of time here and not be bored.

Awesome park! Full of black berry patches which is great during the summer. Dog parks are amazing and well kept. There is a swimming area as well as docks for fishing (public bathrooms available too). The kids playgrounds are extensive and very well put together. Tennis courts are available too.

This off-leash dog park here is convenient and has mostly attentive people. The biggest downside is there isnt any grass in the dog park itself - instead it is sand. The biggest upside is the lake access year round for people and pets alike!

Clean and spacious off-leash areas, one for large dogs and a smaller one for small, shy dogs. Bags are supplied so the park is always free from rogue dog poos. Great place to visit on the weekends and let the little guy run around.

Great place to enjoy nature! Plenty of parking, a variety of trails, and multiple beaches. If you get bored, walk around the concentric circles, or look around to find the ruins in the north of the park!

Great off-leash area with gravel beach on Lake Washington. Bags supplied. Nice dogs as a rule. Plenty of room to throw a ball, if desired. Shower available except in winter. Plenty of parking.

Beautifully maintained park with a very clean off leash area. Its a great place to introduce dogs to the water and make new friends ! Luna, my 4 month old retriever, absolutely loves it here !

Lovely park on the water. The dog park is exceptional with water access for your pups. On a Sunday, the main parking lot was full but overflow parking was available in the south parking lot.

Best dog park around. Dogs get their own beach and an after swim shower station. My dogs ran and socialized and slept contentedly the whole way home. Worth the drive from out of town.

Beautiful place to explore! The dog park is nice, but they have wonderful docks, a swimming beach, and some lovely "secret" paths. Wander around a bit more; youll be glad you did!
