A Private User

Two major cons: Greens burnt up and torn up and crabgrass growing rampant on the tore up tee boxes. Three minor cons:dinky clubhouse, odd "start" setup w/o guidance from clubhouse (I had to make several trips back and forth) and no beer outside clubhouse. Pluses: It was a scenic course with a good mix of difficulties. If the greens were better (which they blamed on scorching weather) it would be alot higher rated. Price w/ cart was affordable. Sorry about no pics, I meant to grab some but forgot. I would go again if invited, but with all the courses in NoVA, I would personally choose somewhere else.

County run community golf center, offeres an average nine-hole course with a relatively low elevation. With of the fairways ranges from generously wide to threateningly narrow, so it is an interesting course that sharpens your accuracy game. Putting green. and driving range with net for tuneups. In season, carts are available for riding, although many players walk/carry. Reasonable prices.

The greens seem to always seem to be aerated, there are geese droppings everywhere, and the upkeep of the course is poor. Any other Fairfax County golf course is a better choice. The only upside is that its usually not crowded so you can have a bother-free 9 holes if youre willing to put up with the conditions.

Solid golf course for a quick round. There are only 9 holes and three of them are pretty short and you could get a hole in one with at 7 or 8 iron. Its generally well maintained but the sand traps were hard to get out of because the sand is not soft.

Nice 9 hole course and great location inside the beltway. Short course but made more challenging with doglegs and fairly narrow fairways. Biggest problem is lots of geese and their offerings to the Earth on some of the greens.

Great 9 hole course to get a quick round in. Course gets backed up on the second hole, but usually frees up after that. Foot golf holes may get in the way, but generally placed away from fairways.

The course is not top notch, but they have friendly programs which allow for golfers (and non-golfers) to enjoy the course and facilities. I also have little kids who like their SNAG lessons.

Good county nine hole course. Very inexpensive, but provides a good affordable option compared to many high priced clubs in the area

Good course, if youre playing for 1st time make sure you get a craft. Plenty of hills..
