Each month, on the first friday of the month, the downtown business alliance and others sponser the Art Stroll. We try to go to it every month and we always start at the Covey Center because thats where the displays are the most serious and best laid out. The North Gallery is a large space where you can easily see many pieces and the shows (with the exception of one or two) are top notch. There something about the gallery space that lets you see everything at a glance and then enjoy studying each individual piece in the show. And weve noticed that some of the folks on the art stroll sometimes forget about it or at least it seems like it with the small amount of preparation they put in. This isnt the case at the Cvey Center, they put in the time and preparation each and month.

Covey Center for the Arts is not the fanciest show-house in the area, however I consistently have been treated well by their employees and enjoyed the performances. The ticket pricing can be pretty inexpensive depending on the show. They get a hold of some decent local talent and attract larger better known acts as well. I would recommend seeing a show here if you are in the area. They also display local art throughout the year in the lobby. Thats worth stopping by if you are already on Center Street.

This place is small and that helps to get a good view from each seat. But the actual seats are also very small. No leg room and very squished side to side. My knees were in the one in front of me for the 3 hours we were there. Super uncomfortable, luckily it wasnt an adult or we would have been bumping the whole time. The venue is ok, but the seats not so much. Also if youre one that likes snacks, I didnt see anywhere that they were sold here. So bring your own.

The $3 service charge per order is not only affordable, but what keeps the box office running in order for the Covey Center to serve their customers efficiently without costing the tax payers more money. Other events facilities charge a per ticket fee, as much as $15 per ticket. I am extremely grateful that Provo city is keeping their fees as low as they can :) The Covey Center for the Arts is a great asset to our community! Way to go Provo city!

Ive been to several events and have enjoyed them all. The prices are reasonable, less than Hale Center Theater, and they sometimes have special 2 for 1 deals. The staff have always been helpful and friendly. They even allowed me to exchange tickets from one show to a completely different play once when I just couldnt make any of the remaining performances. If it werent for Covey, I wouldnt be able to enjoy the arts nearly as often. Thank You!

Covey Center is an incredible venue! They have so many different things going on at one time. There is always something to do there. The people there are so friendly! So, they have a little bit of a service charge, but who doesnt? When I go out of town or to another venue there are tons of hidden charges. $3 is nothing compared to the $10-$20 other places! I love the venue and I cant wait to see who else they bring in!

This was a super cool experience. Historically Ive not been into plays or performances. Im a guy that like motors, jeeps and motorcycles anything with a engine I just do not have time for something that requires me to sit still. This however has given me a differant perspective on things like this. Im actually looking forward to going again in the near future.

I enjoy going to this theater! Its clean, nice, modern. They present a wide range of shows. I used to go to this theater to see The Nutcracker in December until my daughter asked me to do something different. But I still work around it! They also have a lovely Art Gallery there!

Had an amazing time! They said they would help us put a booth up for merchandise, but it never happened, which was a pretty major disappointment. Its a great venue though.
