Most of the reviews I have read about PASA are from parents, and thats awesome, but Im here to tell you about this place as an adult, and a student. When I first looked into PASA, thats what I wanted to see, so hopefully this will help any teens/adults that want to check this out. I love PASA. I have gone to three sessions ( two six week ones, and one eight week one with a showcase), and I dont regret one single moment. I go to the Wednesday class with Paul Tinder. Paul explains things in a fun way, and in a way that is easy to follow. You heard about low pressure teaching? This is no pressure. You get to have fun, and learn the craft all at the same time! When I came into the first class, I was my shy, bottled up and closed off self.. by the end of the first session, I learned how to open up, and realize that its ok to do so. PASA is a comfortable environment with friendly students and teachers. You WILL learn in this class. Every session you take is different as well, so you get a wide range of how things work, and how to bring out the character, and the truth of the moment. Paul Tinder and Vaugn Taylor are the real deal. You can look up their resumes on IMDB. They are industry professionals, and have actually done good work within it. They know what they are doing, they know how to get you there too. You get good, sound teaching, from a Pro from L.A., and with these classes being less pricy than other classes in town? What are you waiting for? Im not a "google user" Im leaving this so you know who I am. You will probably even see me in the class itself too. So quit debating.. if you want to learn how to act, or even if you just want to quit being shy and know how to break out of your shell.. then this is where you need to be. If youre concerned about being too old? Im 32, and by far not the oldest person taking the class. I know I said it already, but this is a very good place, with good, supportive people in it. Youre cheating yourself by not taking at least one session with PASA. They even let you audit a class for free just to see how it all works! So, what do you have to lose? -Michael Seale

We discovered PASA through their summer acting camps in 09. My daughter learned so much in one week with Paul and Vaughan that we signed her up for classes as soon as they opened. This couple has that rare combination of being extremely gifted, genuinely humble. and truly passionate about sharing their love of acting with their students. Their vision of expanding the performing arts opportunities in our community drives their program and in addition to that, they have the best interests of their students in mind. They respect the whole person and expect growth and development in each of their actors. Best value in the city! These folks are the real deal!

After my daughter Olivia took one of Paul and Vaughns Acting on Camera intensives during the summer of 09, I knew that I was dealing with professionals. Their vision and expertise is unsurpassed in the San Antonio area and beyond. We waited until they opened their new teaching facility before placing Olivia in any more classes. They now offer classes in all kinds of performing arts areas, such as acting, acting on camera, vocal lessons, musical dance theater, film making, and so much more. I would highly recommend Performing Arts San Antonio to anyone who is serious about acting in San Antonio.

My daughter, Marina, was an older student at the PASA summer camp. She is a recognized vocalist and experienced performer. From the first day, working with Vaughn and Paul started showing results. Whether you are just starting out or an experienced professional, Paul and Vaughn can guide you to the next level and beyond. Although my daughters schedule is full, we make it a point to schedule additional privates with Paul and Vaughn before any audition or major performance. They have a unique, very individual-oriented teaching method. San Antonio is truly blessed to have them.

Ms. Vaughn and Mr. Tinder are amazing. They run a top notch theatre company, which includes a variety of diverse productions. They are both caring and supportive of emerging actors. My son participated in a month long Summer camp, in which he was exposed to numerous opportunities to expand his acting skills. I loved how both teachers engaged and challenged students to grow. PASA is a gem to the San Antonio area and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they definitely earned it. Their passion and committement is evidence in every aspect of their theatre.

Whats the saying - if you cant "do" teach?! That describes Vaughn. Ive heard great things about "Mr. Paul" and can only speak of my experience with Ms. Vaughn and it was not good. I have never heard my daughter spoken to in such a derogatory manner. My daughter is only 8 and Ms. Vaughn criticized her for not pronunciating clearly and then, after we left, proceeded to talk to another mom about my daughters song choice. I found out later when the mom told me. Not a woman Id want teaching my daughter anything.

Most professional and supportive. We started with PASA because my daughter wanted to do the "Be a Disney Star - THe Events," we wanted her to be prepared and get some training under her belt before pursuing this. We found PASA in October 2010 and have been with them ever since. They treat you like family and my daughter enjoys the wit and education from both Paul and Vaughn. With the experience these two have combined you are sure to get top notch training.

After waiting for years to find the right place for our daughter, finally we found PASA! This performing Arts school offers all the classes she desired to take. They also offer all day classes on Tuesday that fit right into our schedule, though Destinee attends all the classes offered, there are others who take one or two classes. We are so pleased with her excitement and all she is learning. Thank you Paul and Vaughn for your vision and all you do!!

This is an amazing place, Vaughn is my vocal coach and I absolutely love her. She is very professional and therefore knows the tools I need in order to understand what Im singing and how to do it the right way. Paul is the funnies man on earth and I just love them both!. I can never wait for my next class, I just honestly love this place and I see myself growing every day as a vocalist thanks to Ms. Vaughn. Thank you Vaughn!!! :)
