I love the venue primarily because it has offered me several opportunities to see up-close-and-personal performances by some relatively big-name artists. The sound is usually good, and they are good about changing the table layout accordingly to accomodate whatever kind of show itll be; ie, at a metal concert the tables are moved to the back to leave more floor space for people who wanna get into it etc. The only major gripe I have with the place is a relative lack of communication. Beyond posting flyers and making event pages, they have little social media presence, and my emails to the venue are rarely answered. In addition, the staff, while perfectly friendly, is usually not kept informed about the shows. These things have become an issue for me on more than one occasion when I needed to find out if previously announced shows had been cancelled. They didnt announce the cancellations on FaceBook, didnt answer my posts/emails about it, and when Id call to ask the staff they always told me they dont know. The only reason I was able to find out anything the last time this happened was because I got one of the owners names from an acquaintance and had to call and ask her herself. The only other downsides are more of just small gripes. While this venue does host its fair share of original music and several national acts, it seems like the vast majority of the acts are tribute bands or cover bands. I like a good tribute band every now and then, but for a great venue like this with the great potential it has its just surprising that this seems to be the majority of what they host here. My last little nitpick is simply that, for a place that already charges a cover charge (upwards of $30 for bigger name acts), the drinks are still pretty pricey, but Im not much of a drinker anyway. Overall, a great music venue that hosts some good acts, but could stand to work on their communication, to even the scale a bit between tribute bands and original artists, and to maybe not charge $7 for a beer..

I dont normally write reviews but I feel scamed. This is September it is oyster season! When I questioned the lady about the oysters being the smallest I have ever Seen she said well they are out of season. What a lie!! Then I was charged $15 for them. Oh I get it the oysters that I ate were out of season but I was charged this seasons price!!!! I was not satisfied so I tried to eat the crackers that came with my husbands gumbo. The crackers were stale!!! Hubs said the gumbo wasnt good at all. This place is awful service is not up to par. Please hire employees that will go that extra mile. As for me I will not be back.

Ive been here 3 times and each time has been a nightmare experience. Drinks are ridiculously high $32+ import buckets with only five beers, $24+ domestic buckets and then "accidentally" overcharged my six times for the one bucket I ordered and "accidentally" charged my wifes account six times for food. Anyone that has worked bar/restaurant industry knows the POS systems are not rocket science. This was done with intent and malice. I only had two interactions with my waitress. Once to order and another to sign. I will never return and I will be happy to deter all friends and family from this establishment.

This place used to be our spot. I always take a lot of my friends here and family members that can eat a lot of food! Most especially its crawfish seasons. BUT, for the last 3 times visits we have, it has been soooo BAD, regretfully we decided not to come back here again for any restaurant or food outting! IT TOOK MORE THAN 1 HR - 1.1/2HR to get your food! It SUCKS most especially if you are all starving! There are plenty of restaurants up and down 1960 that has waaaayyyy better food and services! I would recommend that if you are HUNGRY? Go somewhere else to eat, NOT HERE!

The crawfish are ok, the 3.99 just made it even better. I order snow crab and they served it to me ice cold! When i sent it back after my hands had been all over them, theuly recooked them. They were still cold! So then the manager wanted to cook them a 3rd time! So no snow crab for me. Smh the manager on duty i spoke with didnt get 2 cent about customers touching food and recooking it. For that reason i want come back. I feel in live with the place then hated it with in 10mins. Sade face

This place is a great venue for live rock bands. Spent new years eve rocking out to a Heart and Journey tribute bands, they were awesome! Great full menu, good drink prices. Small and personal feel to it. Crowd usually pretty mellow and musically smart. Clean mens restroom (with attendant ) and wife said womans restroom was also clean. Check the calendar for future events.

4 of us went and got 2 different dishes. We all were up sick all night long. We used a groupon and the moment I mentioned we had it the server was obviously not happy about it and we were treated like 2nd class citizens the entire time. The crawfish wasnt very good, drinks tasted like soap and being sick was the cherry on top. Will not be going back.

This place really is just okay, the service is good but the food isnt the best, there isnt really a wide food selection. I would recommend coming to this place only a couple of times. The food is a big part of any restraunt and at The Concert Pub, there isnt a variety and the quality of anything here isnt exactly the best.

Went on a Sunday evening with a party of 6, there were only 6 other people in the restaurant. Waited 30 minutes, no menus, no acknowledgement, nothing. One of our party went to the bar to ask if we could be served... another 10 minutes and nothing. We left, I wont be back.

Went for an early dinner, service is extremely slow! Entire dining area was unkept. Menu is very limited & they were out of oysters & crab legs as well. To top things off the restroom was flooded & there were no paper towels or hand soap.

Super venue for seeing great rock acts, especially tribute bands, although I believe they do primarily originals. The place is clean and well maintained with a good selection of drinks and food.

No smoking live music out in the county beyond City of Houston regulations. Unusual that it exists. Cover was $8. Led Zeppelin tribute band. Led by a competent Robert Plant. Fries

Attended the Impact Radio Festival here. The music was great, staff was kind and the crowd was friendly. The stage had great lighting and sound; I had a blast.

Great place. Enjoy the bar and food but the audio is always intolerable. Soundman needs to find a new profession. And this is a place that relies on live music
