Played here on 4/12/16. Fun course, layout is challenging. The tees and fairways were in excellent shape, the greens were not in the best of shape. the grill staff were very courteous and the food we had was wonderful. Pro shop staff really didnt seem to care one way or the other. Now, the big downside, frustration we faced. We had booked a 8:26 time as a twosome, this is where the problems began. Let me first say the weather was cloudy and there had been some intermittent showers while we warmed up and the course was not fully booked. When we met the starter we were informed we would be starting on the back, no big deal. While speaking with the starter I could clearly see open tee times so I asked if we would be paired with another twosome and was informed "no " so we thought great. We arrive at the tee to find a foursome that hadent teed off. Fairway clear, so go figure. Hello 6 hour round. Unbelievable, we played 18 holes behind these people and on 2 occasions ask the marshal to allow us to play thru to no avail. This is the kind of thing that will keep us from returning. It is a shame, this is a beautiful course that I would like to play the next time I visit but will not. While the actions of this group can not be blamed on the course, the fact that the course marshals did not act is not acceptable. i understand this is a golf vacation destination and slow play can be expected but not to this level.

We played the Tradition Club yesterday with 17 people and the condition of the course is horrible. The greens are in terrible shape, and the attitude of the Pro and his staff is very obnoxious, and unacceptable. I would strongly suggest that nobody should play this course because it is north worth a penny. For the amount of green fees we paid $75.00 per person with the cart, was waste of time and money. For half the price at $42.00 we played at the Man O War, and it was was a very good course, and the Founders CC for $40.00 per person was an excellent course condition, and the greens were impeccable. We also played 2 days in a row at the Indian Wells for $30.00 and the condition of the course was in great shape. All this courses the people were nice and friendly and worth playing while you are in Myrtle Beach but NEVER The Tradition.

Pretty course if you dont mind Waiting 15 minutes Between every hole. I will never play there again!! When i told the clubhouse he said Its to be expected this time of year!! Really?! Because we played 3 other courses in myrtle beach that we had no wait. Could have wasted my day somewhere else. Im an avid golfer and have never played a course i had to wait this long!

Played 18 on 8/9/15. Fairway and greens are in great shape. Bunkers need a little TLC. Actually had to pick up in a few of them. But ultimately one of my favorite courses in MB. Have played it a dozen times or more and its always in great shape.

Two island greens! TWO!! (7,15) Tradition has a cool layout with a short par 4 (number 3) and short par 5 (number 9) This is a must-play classic of the Lower Strand.

Awesome greens with great course conditions year around. A challenging course that will test your game. Friendly staff with great food in the restaurant.
