My wife and I went to ultra last night for the first and last time. Everything started off as expected, until we arrived at the metal detector were everything become questionable. When we first came in we were asked to pay the cover and also to check our belongings in. I had a jacket and a hat on but I was allowed to keep my jacket but I had to check my hat in. After checking my hat I made my way to the metal detector were the night began to go weird. So I walked through the detector and nothing went off but the employee at the other end of the detector gave me an offer I had to turn down. He told me if I wanted to wear my hat inside I had to give him $20. I told him I just paid $3 to check it in now I have to pay $20 to check it out?? I told him I was all set. Throughout the night I saw a few guys with hats on and assumed they took the $20 offer. On my way out the lady checking coats was no where to be found and so was my hat. I talked to one of the bouncers and they offered my wife $30 dollars for a $60 hat. At the end of the night all the bouncers surrounded my wife and I and told us to leave. Dont go to Ultra, they employ a bunch of thugs. The Coliseum is a much better place.

I have been going to this club since I turned 18 a few year ago. since then I never gave them money again. Last night some friends and I are just wanted something cheap so we went there ( we are all over 21). Anyway the night is going ok,` we are having an ok time for people having nothing else to do. So of course someone stole my phone from my pocket. Its not Ultras fault, but when I went to tell the bouncers, all they did was shrug and say I cant do anything about it. I dont expect them to stop the party to look in everyones pockets but I expect something, maybe tell the other bouncers to look out for it, or tell the DJs in both rooms to announce it. By the end I get a friend to tell the DJ to announce it, he did and some other person who wasnt even talking to us behind the booth says to me "its an Iphone?, or your not gonna find it. That is not your job though. I spoke to the owner and ONLY he took down my info and really tried to help. Them over sized buff bouncers need to get replaced. over all ULTRA sucked if Karma was open, there would be NO ULTRA.

Dirty and trashy, you felt like you were partying in the restroom! Speaking of which there are no doors on the bathroom stalls in the back, girls had to stand infront of their friends so they could use the bathroom. Absoulutly disgusting, the only teason they are still in business is cuz its 18 plus and those going there can not get into some other clubs. I will never go back!

This place is horrible! They make you check your camera in at the door, and then cant find it when you go back to get it. They make up excuses about how someone mustve picked it up already (when i obviously have my ticket still). Its obvious that the employees steal the left over checked in items or just hand them out to whoever feels like going to go pick one up. Then when i went to talk to the managers they made me call back for 3-4 consecutive weeks with it ending in the employee (named Frank) cursing at me and being very rude and sarcastic. Not to mention the club was very trashy, the security had no problem feeling you up. if you go DONT CHECK ANYTHING IN, YOU WILL NOT GET IT BACK.

Nobody come here. Didnt even have to go to this place to have a horrible time. Made a single phone call to this establishment and proceeded to get screamed at by what I thought was an employee. Then when I asked to speak to a manager I was informed he was the manager who then continued screaming at me and cussing me out. No one go here and if you do avoid avoid avoid any sort of management. Horrible management and horrible club altogether.

I love the theme parties. I found out about the mardi gras theme when I was walking by Bruna Costumes in my neighborhood of Silver lake. I have never been to Ultra before but Bruna said that a lot of people purchased masks for the ocassion. I took Brunas advice and went I also purchased a great mask and had a blast. This place is cool. They should advertise more. If I didnt go by Bruna Costumes, I wouldnt have known about it.

The DJ does change the songs a lot and talks too much but he plays good music. The club has a lot of potential, just need more care. The "VIP" areas were shoddy, not worth paying for, and the club looks very cheap even though its not. My boyfriend and I do suspect they may change the brand name liquor for cheaper liquor because we noticed a taste difference. Bartenders were friendly enough, bathroom wasnt horrible.

the DJ changed the song every 10 seconds, too much dance hall music, everyone was grinding to songs you cant even grind to, barley any bachata,water was 4$, too many drunk people, extremely small dance floor, and barley any room for you to go out side. im 18 years old and this was my first experience going to any night club. i dont recommend this club at all. waste of a drive.

I went to Ultra this Saturday and the bouncers were not letting me go from one room to another. They are extremely rude and dont believe in customer service at all. 15$ to get into a club is really very high to start with. Add to that rude bouncers and I NEVER want to GO THERE AGAIN! The place is an excuse for a night club. The DECOR SUCKS!

Awful business. Getting a VIP section for my girlfriends birthday and they didnt answer the phone during the business hours they had offered. I left a voice message, but was never contacted back. Finally got someone to answer a few days ago, but women hung up on me because she didnt want to answer questions. Rude people.

Typical night club. Decent music with a fun atmosphere. However, the security clearly racial profiled me saying I was not appropriately dressed wearing a button up dress shirt dress shoes and jeans, where others were in tank tops and shorts. Bar staff was pleasant.

The music is horrible. They play the same music all the time.They need to play music people can actually dance too. Unless your extremely bored without nothing better to do dont got there. Oh yea and they dont let you were hats either they just suck!
