Fields, tennis courts, playground redone in 2014, plus river access, picnic areas, and a nice set of historical descriptors of the first iron foundry west of the Rockies -- before Seattle, SF, or anyplace. The 40ft+ high smokestack for the original blast furnace is still there... They tried to remove it once with dynamite but it only chipped a bit around the edges. Awesome.

This is a nice park, especially during the summer since there is river access. I sometimes take the kayak down there to launch near home. A warning for those wanting to launch boats, sometimes the parking can get crowded especially in the lower lot, so be prepared to carry your boat. There are a few nice grassy fields for Frisbee or other sporty activities.
Love this place...its like the heart of Lake Oswego....as far as access to the river....LOTS OF HISTORY HERE!!....A must see if your in the area....they have ALL the amenities a park should have....places to play....relax....or have a cook out....many many things to do.
Really nice views of the Willamette River and great beach access. We love to kayak there and have picnics throughout the year, and just enjoy a day by the water. Theres also a nice path for walking along the Willamette and a great park for kids to play at.
This is a great park down by the river. Parking can be a challenge but once you get a spot, its quite nice. Theres a bit of Lake Oswego history too with the old furnace structure still there. Wander down to the river and enjoy on a warm summer day.
Sweet park with soccer/baseball fields, two tennis courts, a beautiful playground and more just downhill from there. Seldom busy unless there are organized sports underway. Close to downtown Lake Oswego and plenty of food and shopping.

Historic site of the Oregon Iron Company, with original furnace stack preserved. Educational with a covered kiosk with four double-sided informational signs showing thr history of the first iron smelter west of the Mississippi.
A very family friendly park with nice walking trails. Always clean and not usually super crowded, there is usually always someone else in the park. Its lit really well and closes at 10 pm, as does all of Lake Oswegos city parks.
Fun community park. Ive been here for tennis, friends bbqs, festivals, spending time by the water, and a couple games of softball. Its a solid, clean, well-kept place with a wide selection of uses. I like it.
small but lively park. there is a nice beach on the Willamette river that is very popular in the summer. three is also a walkway that extends pretty far south that is great for biking and dog walking
Beautiful scenery and great trail to run on. Great "beach" by the river that willing young children can dip their toes in. Parking and getting in and out can be little hectic especially if busy.
Beautiful park with a nice play area, excellent Beach along the Willamette River, nice sports fields and even a little tour of the history of Lake Oswego. Its a great place to bring the family.

Awesome park with a beautiful beach, nice walking trail, great picnic areas, very fun kids playground, ball fields, etc. etc. You could not ask for a nicer city park so close to Portland.
Nice beach on the river. Clean water and really deep. Shallow by the sand and good for kids. Must rent a paddle board and paddle out to some of the old structures there. Really neat.
Small park near downtown LO. Recommended for small children, good to picnics and sunbathing. It has an opening to the Willamette river with a "sandy" shore good for the little ones.
This is a neat park that offers very little parking. It is a great place to go on a weekday and kids are in school but during the summer and weekends it is extreme crowded.
Great little hidden "beach" on the Willamette river in Lake Oswego. Kayak and SUP rentals. Beach area good for swimming. Great place to while away a summer afternoon.
Awesome park along the Willamette river with beach access. Come early the parking lot fills quickly on a warm day. Great place to take the family and have a BBQ.
My family enjoyed playing on the beach-type waterfront, and I enjoyed reading the various displays about the history of the iron industry that once existed here.
Great park with beach access, tons of trails to hike and benches for breaks or impromptu picnics, the upper end of the park has tennis courts and a kids park.

Great place to take the family out... theres a hike you can take to see views of the river from the top.. nice sandy river bank, plus a grassy area...
The best all around for hanging out with my friends. Picnic, bbq, boating, tennis, beach playing... Very well-maintained and offering great views.
its got an open field for baseball, soccer, whatever. Its got tennis courts, kids play area, and down by the river you can swim or have a picnic.

My son loved it!!! Perfect for family play, tennis and picnics.. walking distance to tubing and the river. Clean friendly and parking everywhere
Good place for the kids to splash around. Not a lot of nature to explore which is what my kids want but still a great place to chill with kids.
Awesome place! So accessible. Great for kids, dogs, and everyone in between. The historical elements are pretty cool, too.
Great place for family to enjoy water sports and the beach. Crowded on the weekends and finding car park can be a problem.

Really nice park. You can walk along the river, or head uphill and and climb along the creek. Lots of room to explore.
Awesome, kids friendly, accessible. We have so much fun doing picnic in the grass and then enjoying the little beach.
Can get rather busy and not much room for people to spread out on the beach. But otherwise a good place to cool off.
Muy agradable lugar perfecto para la familia
Good place to put in a kayak or canoe and great fishing to be had. Just hate the climb back up to the parking lot!
Great place to come with my family. I also come here and do a little fishing in the spring and summer as well.
One of my favorites spots to spend quality time with my daughter. We enjoy the scenery and the river.
Great park. Can be a little crowded, but worth going. Great for picnics and playing in the water.
Beautifully landscaped, historically significant, unusual terrain; this is a very special place.
The water is perfect, the beach is spacious, and the environment is very peaceful and calming
This is a nice park in the city. Nice bathrooms. Great playground. Good place to take a walk
That furnace is rad AF.
Attended an at festival here. Park has good playground, grass areas, river access.

Fun to learn about the history of the iron works, and then walk around the river.
Love this place. Always a quick fun stop for our 3yr old to get her wiggles out!
Grandchildren loved it here. Except for bees. Needs more swings. Beautiful park

Beautiful, nicely updated a few years ago. Convenient to West Linn as well.
Great childrens playground, water, dogs, walking, jogging, historical site
A fun place to go with lots of things to do and historic places as well.
Nice clean river access and as it is in Lake O, mostly riff raff free.
