I played Deer Track Golf Course earlier in the year in April and thought the course was in good condition. The fairways and greens were in very good shape, but playing the course again today Ill say the fairways were in good shape, the greens were nice but the rough was atrocious and looked as if it hadnt been cut in over 2 weeks. i would have probably rated the course a 4 star back in April, but today I only have it a 3 rating. If only rating the fairways and greens, the clubhouse, and staff is have rated it 4.5 stars. I am a senior golfer and dont hit the ball as far off the tee as I once did, even playing the forward tees I was unable to reach most fairways and because of the length of the rough the ball would hit and just stop. Most areas of the rough was so deep it was hard even finding your ball. The U.S. Open rough isnt this deep. Course management standards are very low here and it just looks like ownership takes no pride in how the course looks. Sand traps were in need of serious attention, and an over abundance of clover and weeds taking over the course outside the boundaries of the fairway. If youd put as much pride in the course as you do your clubhouse youll have a 5 star establishment. I more than likely will not be back to play Deer Track anytime soon. MOW THE GRASS !!!

The folks at Deer Track have been very friendly every time I have played there and I like the course alot. The course is pretty flat, but it has plenty of strategically placed water hazards and bunkers to keep things interesting. This course does not make my Top Ten in the Greater Cincinnati/Dayton/Northern Ky area but it certainly is in my Top 25 and I have played ALOT of courses in my time. Very reasonably priced, well maintained and alot of fun to play- I would recommend giving the Track a try if you have not played here yet!

This course is a diamond in the rough. Greens are rolling great. Prices are cheaper than most courses in area. I love the clubhouse with the log cabin feel to it. Very nice golf carts and the workers are friendly and very helpful. The island green is awesome. Plenty of challenge with lots of water making up for the lack of grade. Great for a beginner golfer as it is pretty open. I have never been disappointed with my golfing experiences at this great little course.

Best value Ive had this year! Got a decent price on 18 with a cart and was quite impressed with both the condition and layout of the course. Cool club house with friendly staff. Cant wait to play here again. Cant give a complete five stars due to the fairway bunkers, tee boxes, and some parts of the fairway not being well maintained. Greens were in fantastic shape!
