Went to see Englbert Humperdink with my 72 year old mother on her birthday. They couldnt find our tickets. So with that my mother had to walk up 3 flights of steps to the nose bleed section. Half way through the show we were brought down to a better seat. They found them. The only way of finding tickets that are paid for is by a nsme? No other way to find them? Really? Soooo.....in tears...ruined birthday present...and travelling from all the way down south jersey they offered us a chance to meet Englbert. Waited over 2 hours for a handshake and a quick picture. Mom was thrilled...I was not. Maybe a refund would have sufficed? NOT!!! Bye bye St George Theater....it was nice knowing you. Disappointed!

We saw the Wizards of Winter. The theater was very nice. Plenty of parking. We sat in the RCFS and the seats were great. It felt like we were very close to the stage. The Wizards of Winter put on an amazing show and even hung out afterwards to meet, take photos and sign autographs. All around great time, I hope we are able to do it again next year.

Absolutely gorgeous, and anybody interested in history or culture or just kitschy old places should make it a point to stop by. Id say this is in my top ten list of notable old New York theaters, but along the old Landmark Loews in Newark, Radio City and maybe the Apollo, we dont even have a top five. Catch it while you can.

Its an old historic theater w/ lots of history. Its currently in the long process of being restored but concerts and shows go on all the time. Good quality productions and high end entertainment. Has a snack bar and wine/liquor are available too. Great for children and a nice night out for everyone.

I was just there with my two children, the show was amazing, the theater is beautiful, clean and the workers were super pleasant and helpful, I wish in the future they take credit card, not every one carries cash anymore. But overall a great experience!

My 87 year old were there for the first time on 3/18/17 to catch the Michael Jackson tribute. We were not only impressed by the beauty of the theater but also for its wonderful staff. Definitely will go back to see more shows there! Thank you all.

Best concert ever last night. Discoball was amazing and Joe Causi was fantastic. This is when music and people were great and just looking to dance and have a great time. All of the groups were top notch and so was the theater.

Came for a Christmas show with my boyfriend. And I had a blast. I loved the architecture of the building more then anything. The staff was friendly and I had no issues. I can definitely see myself returning.

The theatre is amazing!! Its like a walk back in time. The shows are awesome as well. The acoustics in this place are great and make for an even better performance. I would highly recommend coming for a show.

Beautiful decor and intricate designs on the walls and the ceiling. Inside the theater itself is a massive chandelier. Most of the art and accents are gilded.
