If youre looking for a good long path on Long Island, this is the best place Ive found thus far. Riders of all levels come here, with people that look theyre prepping for the Tour de France to beach cruisers. Beautiful sights of Long Island bays and beaches ok both sides of the path. Other than the bike path their are very nice recreational facilities, baseball, basketball, raquetball, etc... And expansive green spaces. Note non Nassau county have to pay a fee ($10) during certain times of the year.

I love Cedar Creek Park but I only go to the dog park. The people in the dog park are friendly and take care of their dogs if there are any problems. The park is also great for sledding in the winter. It can get quite crowded though as it is not a secret. The other thing is it offers access to the Wantagh Parkway Bicycle run so a lot of bicyclists use it too. Overall a good Park and a great addition to the Nassau County

The park itself is run down and neglected. Dozens of trees died after Sandy, which the town eventually replaced years later. The new trees are not watered regularly, which means there are now dozens of dead trees or near dead trees again. So glad TOBAY has extremely high taxes. The only good thing about the park is it has a bike path that is approximately 8.65 miles long and ends at Tobay Beach.

CCP has dog runs, picnic locations, soccer fields, children playgrounds, aerodrome, everything that you would like to have in a park with the exception of a pool. You and your children can enjoy Tuesday movies summer program. If you are walking in the biking path you should be aware of the ticks risk, check yourself and cloths for their presence before you get into your car.

Cedar Creek is the starting point for the Jones Beach bike path. Im usually there 3x a week. Youll have wind to contend with on the ride out or the ride back and it can be pretty strong. Youll share the bike path with runners, skaters and walkers. It can get crowded on weekends and on in-season weekends youll need an id with a Nassau county address to park for free.

Been working here for three year. Its a fantastic park for bike riding, picnics big or small and the dog run always has great, well behaved dogs. The bike tall to Jones beach is beautiful and an easy 4.1 miles. It should just be noted that there is a fee for people not from Nassau on weekends and holidays and that dogs are not allowed outside the dog run.

I live very close to this park and I enjoy it very much. But lately there have been a lot of dogs being walked through the park, which is illegal and the park is somewhat strewn with garbage. I am not faulting the parks department, it is the public not respecting their beautiful open spaces.

Made use of the bike path that runs along the Wantagh State Parkway to the Jones Beach Theater and connects to both the boardwalk and the Ocean Parkway bike path that runs to Tobay Beach. The park itself also has its own internal bike path as well as all the amenities youd expect

Cedar creek park is a large public park with plenty of benches for relaxing as well as several playground areas for children. Its also the gateway to the wonderful bike path along the Wantagh Parkway which feeds into the Jones Beach path along Ocean Avenue.

Nice smaller sized park. Great for bike riding and tennis. Also has a turf field thats used for soccer, lacrosse and football. There is also an archery range, dog park and a bike path which continues outside the park and runs all the way to Jones Beach.

Ive grown up next to this park and have been going there for years. The park is beautiful and the areas that they have fixed up are nice, however some areas of the park do need a little tlc. Otherwise this is okne of my favorite places to go for a walk.

Been going here my whole life. They have added a wonderful dog park. It is a great place to bring family and friends for a quiet afternoon or a picnic. You can also take the bike trail to Jones Beach from there.

Great park. It is out of our way and we still frequent here. The playgrounds are good (4 playgrounds for different age groups). It is also a great place for riding bikes with lot of trails

Love the playgrounds. Great for babies up to older kids. I personally dont like when parents let older kids onto the little kids side, they are too fast and too rough for the smaller kids.
