AMAZING! If you have an opportunity to visit this vineyard, I highly recommend it. My husband and I have visited many vineyards/wineries and stopped at Stoutridge while staying at a B&B in Salisbury Mills, NY. The vineyard is owned by a husband and wife. Theyre both biochemists and dont have any other workers at the vineyard. The wine is pure and organic. My husband and I feel were pretty knowledgeable about wine, but this tasting blew our minds! It was more of an experience than a tasting. We learned that many of the wines we buy in the stores are just as chemically processed as the food we eat. Chemicals and sweeteners are added. The wine at Stoutridge tasted unlike any other wines Ive ever had. A Merlot, which is normally dry and oaky, was light and smooth, yet robust. The owner kept comparing wine to artists paintings, and it was such an educations experience. The wine is more expensive due to the owners doing all of the work themselves at the vineyard, but I promise you, theyre totally worth it!

Great experience touring here. The grounds are beautiful, and the winery building itself is beautiful as well. The owners were extremely knowledgeable and passionate and took time to explain how the wines are made, why theyre made the way they are, and other interesting information. The wines are made differently, and the uniqueness of the process shows in the taste, which I promptly fell in love with. They make their wines without chemical alteration, opting instead to leave them natural. Since the wine we are used to buying has additives and such so that it can travel better and remain fresh, the taste is quite different from what youd expect (and in my opinion, much better). Ill definitely be back to buy more and enjoy the winery.

Walked into the tasting room where we were completely ignored even though there was only 1 other couple there. Awkward. The employee finally spoke to us suggesting we take a "self guided tour" until he starts another tasting in a few minutes. Really just wanted to taste their wines, not walk around an empty poorly lit room by ourselves. Ive been to many wineries and most at least say hello when you walk in. Place felt cold and awkward. Will never go back.

Unique selection of wine. The owner is very passionate about his wine making. He does not use any chemicals or additives that are found in most wines. His aging process takes years and his wine can only be purchased here. If you are interested in the science and history of wine making, this is the place for you. The landscape surrounding the historic building is also beautiful.

Im sorry but the people here were out right rude and nasty. I went here with a group and we ended up leaving not even half way through the tasting. Really disappointing. I wouldnt go here again.

What a beautiful place! They have a completely natural fermentation process so their wine is unlike anything Ive ever had. The guided tasting was very informational! Will definitely be back.
