I can not say enough good things about NYPAC! My daughter had been taking dance classes at another local studio for many years, and we were mostly unhappy. We were so lucky to learn about NYPAC and have only had a positive experience there. It is a quality studio, with quality classes, quality teachers and run by quality women. Carol and AnnaMarie are a true class act! They are extremely accommodating, and genuinely care about each and every student as well as their parents. It is so obvious how important it is to them that every child and parent be happy and satisfied. They run a "tight ship", but would not be able to put together the fabulous recital or excellent dance teams if they didnt. The kids learn respect and gain confidence while having fun. I highly recommend this studio. You will not be sorry!!

April 2015 - Thank you NYPAC for another amazing Dance Competition season! It is very impressive how you manage to make everyone feel welcome, loved and part of the NYPAC family. You keep building the confidence and dance skills in all your students, but most importantly you teach them the love of dance, sportsmanship and to just have a good time. February 2014 - We just came back from an amazing dance competition weekend experience called Adrenaline. Our daughter loved every second of her moment in the spotlight and all the dance workshops. Thank you NYPAC for giving her the confidence to show a very impressive on-stage-attitude. You are teaching her so much more than just dance. Cannot believe this is our little girl. My daughter participates in the Showstoppers program and tap class at NYPAC and loves every second! With supportive guidance, encouragement and discipline, NYPAC has provided a creative environment where kids learn everything from the basics of performing arts to the little nuances that help create a confident and engaging performer. The instructors are so invested in the programs they offer and it is evident not only in the spectacular productions they put on, but in my daughters enthusiasm and dedication for NYPAC as well!!

My daughter started dancing at NYPAC this past Fall and joined the Hip Hop dance team. She is having such a wonderful and fun experience. She is so proud to be a member of NYPAC. The other moms and children have been very inviting and helpful. Annamarie and Carol are extremely professional and believe in providing a positive, supportive environment for the dancers who span many levels of experience. My daughter takes Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap and Ballet. All of the instructors are excellent!! Thanks NYPAC!!

This is my daughter 4th year at NYPAC. She started with a weekly tap class and this past year joined their Tap and Hip Hop Teams. What a great experience. It is wonderful to see the older dancers take an interest in the younger dancers - giving them complements and confidence! Carol and AnnaMarie take great care of the girls and really work with you to make sure things are the right fit for your child. Whether you are looking for a weekly dance class or competitive team, this is a great place to be!

New York Performing Arts Center teaches dance, singing and acting skills in a positive, nurturing environment. My son wants to pursue the arts as a career when he gets older and NYPAC trains him in all aspects of theater and dance. Not only does he have fun but he has grown in his skill set so much due to the incredibly talented and professional teachers that are at NYPAC. They teach teamwork, dedication, responsibility and work ethic. I highly recommend NYPAC!

So happy I found NYPAC for my dance-loving son. The teachers are wonderful dancers and choreographers, and they bring out the best in the kids while making it fun. The owners even helped arrange transportation from school to dance lessons...a huge help for this working mom. They have competitive teams and help the kids present truly polished acts, always with encouragement and not too much pressure. Great experience all around. Try it!

We joined NYPAC last year and were blown away by the professionalism of the teaching staff and the owners. The teachers are all professional dancers, most or all of who have performed on Broadway. The owners truly care about your child. This is a place where your child will learn to dance and learn to be a respectful adult at the same time!! Not easy to find! Very impressed!

Great show,"Willie Wonka jr." The kids were amazing ,even though there were only weeks to prepare .I was really surprised at my shy son ,so amazing in this play, he loved the experience, a great nurturing environment!
