Fantastic aero museum for any aviation or space lover. I wasnt expecting i, but they had an entire section on rocketry, with some full rocket engines (not just the nozzle bells) to boot. Their model aircraft carrier was magnificent, both in size and detail. The first part of the museum felt a little underwhelming, but was highly information, and had a large section on influential women in aviation, a group whose contributions are largely ignored. I loved this place for many reason, one of which was that I got to see my first A-10 Thunderbolt II there. Would recommend a visit if you live in the area.

Great museum. Staff very friendly. $8 for adults. Great history of flight and history of the ANGB with flights to Greenland and Antartica via C130s fitted with skis. Great history of the airport and hangar across GEs flight testing unit days up to today. Nice collection of jets and other planes. They also have the scale model of the Agira (Japanese Carrier that lead the attacks on Pearl Harbor). Overall a great museum and well worth stopping by.

Mostly about military aircraft, but with a bit about local development including the Malta test facility. The outdoor craft are in pretty bad shape and the main musuem is largely grade school dioramas. If you are a plane geek and have some time to kill it is worth a visit.

Older, smaller museum. Some interactive exhibits. Very informative. Not quite 4 stars, but not 3 either, more like 3.5 stars. Great for adults interested in aviation. Young kids will be interested as well. Challenging with tweens.

Lots of fun activities for the kids and friendly professional staff to give tours or answer questions. Beautiful displays and hands on activities. There is also a cool virtual reality ride.

Great museum in town. Has so much information, interactive displays and several airplanes. It will take 2-3 hours to see everything. Ive been a couple times now, great for all ages.

We had a great time exploring the facility with a 7 yr. old and 3 10yr old boys! They enjoyed being able to get up close and see things, hands on

If visiting Schenectady it is a really nice place to take an hour or 1.5 from your day to see all that so many people were a part of our history

Great museum, especially for the price. All the exhibits are fun for the kids, while providing lots of information. Friendly staff

Great aviation exhibits. One miserable woman volunteering in a yellow hat really started the visit on a sour note.

Fun place to see some cars during the car show and then stop back again for aircraft.
