This is a great course for beginners and sometimes golfers like me. The new management team has taken good care of the course, added new carts, and seems to be up to date with technology in the clubhouse. The course is well maintained but does not have bunkers or water hazards. It does have plenty of long and wide fairways. For me that is a plus as I dont lose too many golf balls but if you are a more experienced or highly competitive golfer this may be a bit on the easy side. I would say the greens fees of $25 for 18 with cart are a bit high given the course difficulty and location. Right down the block is the Green Lake State Park Golf course which is as beautiful as a PGA course in its design and features. The greens fees at that park are $30. In general if you have a Saturday morning during the summer free and a good friend to play a round go to Lyndon for an easy going 18 holes and beautiful walk. Youll be glad you did. Local Resident

For a casual player its 4 stars, more serious folders would call it a 3. The price is good 20 for a cart and 18 holes, but I think thats a fall special. Most of the tee boxes didnt have markets trekking you where to hit from. Some of the fairways were a little shaggy. They have a 220 yard par 4 and a 389 yard par 3. Some of the views are fantastic. You have to cross a very busy road to get to the back 9, and cars are traveling pretty fast. Speaking of fast, the greens are in good shape - you dont have to hammer the ball, but it also does not roll off the green with an easy tap.

Great value...no Sand or water hazards. Perfect for those who are not that good or new to the game.
