Very nice pool but I felt offended by a male lifeguard who asked me if I had a swimsuit under my cover-up. I think it was too much. I was wearing flip-flops and left thin leggings on because I had a surgery on my veins and was not planning to go into water. It is not like I was wearing a coat and winter boots. My child was there with other adults and kids so I was just watching in a corned but was asked to leave. I think it was excessive and unnecessary. Not all women like to wear swimsuits (religion, med. issues, etc) and why is it required when they have multiple lifeguards? Just the question itself was rude in my opinion. Was I supposed to show what I had under my cover-up? Sorry, but I do not get it. It was a very unpleasant experience.

Its a nice place to take your kids and family, we had a birthday party for our daughter there, it was a little pricey and kids could only swim for an hour, the lady we had was clueless tho, the room for the party wasnt clean, she only came in the room one time to tell us swimming is over, I wasnt happy with paying $200+ for a party that wasnt all that great, make a long story short, they gave us 6 free tickets so it wasnt to bad after all, manager/owner was nice, some staff are nice but some need a new job! All in all, nice and clean place to take the family!

The rec center has not only a gym but also MULTIPLE rec rooms that one can rent out for party planning. And IF those plans include kids then youre in for a treat because their addition of their new indoor water park is not only affordable guy it is also age friendly across the generation gap. From the kiddie section to water slide theres a jet pool a full size pool and for thhose just interested in relaxing there is a full sized 15 seater Jacoozie Hot tub. The kind of place you want to bring the WHOLE family to for just a couple hours... OR The day.

Like most things run by government Perinton Rec does an ok job but would not be able to survive on its own the market place. Some staff are fine but many others wouldnt last a week at a private gym.... some of the ladies downstairs at the sign in desk are total bitches and have no clue what customer service is. Work out facilities are adequate but it takes FOREVER to get anything repaired... often takes more than a month while the staff tells you "the part is on order still".... BS!

I went one time with my family the kids lived it . To many rules for a bathing suit some ppl dont like showing there body so even if u wear a cover up you still get kicked out of the pool area. Doesnt make sense its not Fair plz change that rule!!

This is an amazing place for kids and adults.. the pool is always clean and so much fun for kids of all ages.. adults can also swim in the lap pool or work out in the gym. Its also fun in the summer at the outdoor concerts.

I took my young son here for family friendly water activities. The lifeguards were extremely attentive, sometimes to the point of feeling pushy, but I can understand why. There was something for everyone, adult to infant.

I go here weekly in the summer in order to participate in the summer concert series. Sometimes I need to bring food as the options are not good, but otherwise it is a enjoyable outdoor activity to hang out with family.

A nice facility with free indoor track for residence. The times for the pool, weight room and other amenities are at odd times and payment plans making it a little more difficult to take advantage of.

Awesome place. Very clean , very organize and the pools are very well manteined. They have good lifeguards and good security. Lookers are nice and clean just bring ur lock. I love it!

Facilities seem clean and reasonably well maintained. Aquatics center is great for families and has longer open swim hours than most school pools. A bit pricey for non-residents.

Sucks, they reserve the gym for pointless activities, Ive been trying to get back in shape and play basketball more but the gym is always reserved...theres no use in this place.

Good place to work out and swim. The lap swim times are quite limited during the summer, as kids are everywhere in the lap pool. But you can make it work!
