Unwelcoming. Skip this one. Im sorry to say I had a very unpleasant experience when I took my family and friends to this tasting room three weeks ago. We were a party of nine and had already visited four different wineries. On our way home we decided to stop by this place to try their wine and maybe bring home some bottles. It was one hour to closing time when we entered. Right away the bartender respectfully explained that they dont usually serve big parties, but since we were the only customers there, he would make an exception. This was fine. We thanked him. At that point, only four of us were willing to do the tasting (two of us were driving and the others had had enough wine at the other places). They sat at a table, while the rest of us sat on a sofa to wait for them. Their aim was just to taste the wine and decide if it was worth buying some bottles. My friend ordered a flight (3 reds/3 whites) and went to the table near the bar. For some reason they were not served at the table, so he had to go back to the bar every time they finished one of the six wines. When he walked to the bar to get the third serving, a gentleman we had not seen so far had come from the back and said: "Do you wanna go ahead and order the second flight?" My friend explained that they had had enough to drink and really just wanted to try the wine. The gentleman then, with an attitude, stated flights are supposed to be for two people, not four, and that he would have to add a charge to our bill if we insisted to share it with four people. Mind you, none of this was written on their menu or anywhere at the bar. Still, my friend said it was fine and went back to the table. After that, that gentleman kept scowling and mumbling something to the other person behind the bar. We felt that our presence was annoying him. The whole experience was very uncomfortable. My friends mother felt so uncomfortable that she decided to stand outside to wait for us. I left right after her. In the end the extra fee was not added to our bill. We were the only customers there the whole time. Never had I felt so unwelcome. I do not recommend this place. The bottom line: Skip this place. I recommend you take your friends and loved ones somewhere where they value your patronage and treat you accordingly. There are several wonderful wineries to visit in the area, where you will have a great time and enjoy good wine. In my experience, this is not one of them.

Incredible wines and outstanding service! There arent many wineries out here where the owner is so involved in the business hes literally pouring the wines for you. Its got the feeling that you are part of the family. Some of the best red wines on the North Fork. When you think of Long Island, Merlot or Cabernet Franc comes to mind. Jim Waters small batch, handcrafted wines are outstanding! Coming from humble beginnings, and growing his business, Jim really makes wines that he, wine club, and the people who stop in will appreciate for years to come. Definitely worth a stop a stop when you visit the North Fork. I promise you will want to come back.

Very small, store front, winery...but definitely one of my favorites. All the wine I sampled (3 red & 3 white) were very good. Their dessert/ice wine is by far the best youll ever have. It is seriously amazing. Go try out this Winery. You wont be disappointed.
