I like the oil pattern on the lanes- not too much oil (personal preference) so that the ball can swing back into the pocket with harder hitting action. And though nearby Bradley Beach Bowl is pretty nice too, this place seems to carry better. More relaxing atmosphere too. I also wanted to shout out to John the proshop/ counter guy and Ralph the owner. Their PR skills are exceptional!!!!! Plus I especially thank them for saving my glasses for me from when I visited there a week prior, Id accidentally forgotten them. (I live about 2 hours away). You guys are the greatest and if I lived any closer Id visit MUCH more often!!!

Im not sure where any negative reviews have come from. I bowl here with and without my kids about once a month or so. the staff is perfect, friendly and accommodating. This is bowling- you really do not need anyone to hold your hand. If you have a problem, they fix it in about 5 seconds. the lanes are great, and the place- including the bathrooms are clean. Ive never had a problem with the ball getting stuck. there is a bar and snack bar available. they have a huge parking lot.

I had my twins birthday party there. Its hard to find a place that is fun and reasonable in the winter season for birthday parties. Ralph was very helpful. Darnell was our host. He was wonderful! I want to thank him for making sure my kids and their friends had a wonderful time.. ❤❤

Great place to roll a few games. House is from the 1950s with original pin setters and equipment. Rolled 4 games with a friend and everything worked fine. Staff was great to talk to, they told me some of the history of the lanes. If you like nostalgia, head over.

I just love Shore Lanes! It is very old school, not many bells and whistles, but the staff is outstanding. The owner Ralph is so generous and hosts our Charity Bowling event each year and works with us so wonderfully. It is so refreshing!
