I was amazed by the scale and beauty that was there, and that I found. My then, Girlfriend brought me here... and I fell in love with her even more. . . By just walking and taking in everything around us. .. It was one of the most BEAUTIFUL AFTERNOON of my ENTIRE LIFE. . . SHE is what made my days and nights shine bright no matter how gloomy the circumstances. . . The time we spent here at the Park was AMAZING, we were taking so long to walk out. .the sun went down. ..and the Park police had to hit their sirens to guide us out. ..lol Wonderful memories

I started coming here years ago when I first moved to manalapan. Since then, they have renovated the visitor center and a few more people visit the park daily. Still a great, quiet place to enjoy nature and some history. Easy and well maintained trails are one of the best features of the park. Visitors are likely to see wildlife such as deer, foxes, and squirrels. I have even seen a few snakes (small and harmless). One of the trails is particularly fantastic for seeing a variety of butterflies

This park features a very nice visitors center in a decently maintained historical battlefield. The interpretive center features extensive exhibits about the battle, the history of the war, and the people who lived here, as well as a short film narrating the battle. Every summer the park features reenactments and tours. Unfortunately some of the structures are in disrepair, some paths overgrown or flooded, and signs are missing or damaged.

The last battle in the north fought here during the American Revolutionary War, which eventually led to the birth of a new nation, the United States of America. If you stop by a visitor center, you will learn a lot about this historical event in American history. It has one of the best visitor centers in New Jersey, a separate building for class rooms, trails for a long walking and picnic areas.

The Battlefield itself is a large orchard that is well maintained and there are history info pavilions located around important areas of the Battlefield. The museum is a very clean and modern facility with well thought out dioramas of the events during the revolutionary war in the area. Definitely worth a visit for locals interested in the revolutionary war.

The biggest battle of the American Revolution was fought here and in the surrounding area! Great museum/visitors center. Be sure to check out the reenactment at the end of June every year.
