One of my favorite places in the city. The visitors center has a patio that wraps around the lakeside front with tables, benches and a fireplace. Theres a good amount of parking - 4 separate lots throughout the park. Also two different beaches, one has canoes available and a large metal dock. My brothers dog loved swimming here last summer but Im not sure if its allowed. I loved the outdoor concert in the ampitheather but it was packed. The trails are beautiful and I love the bridge to the island, where theres a pavilion and fire pit. Theres another pavilion at the second beach which is set up for swimming. Plenty of grills and space to picnic. This park offers lots of interesting events and education so follow them on Facebook. Very dog friendly! ♡

Working for Mintahoe Catering & Events, I love it when a couple chooses a Three Rivers Park District site for their wedding celebration! The Great Hall at Silverwood has a great patio OR an outdoor amphitheater OR a rustic island to choose from for outdoor ceremonies - WOW. The beautifully laid out event space makes use of floor-to-ceiling windows to allow tons of natural light, augmented by the gorgeous chandeliers as the evening progresses. This space brings the best of Minnesota outdoors in - without any pesky mosquitoes : ). Three Rivers venues are always very clean, set exactly to the agreed upon floor plan, and professionally managed. I appreciate being able to cater to such a spectacular venue! Julie T

This place needs to be better at helping out their clients rather than ignoring their calls and emails. If Jenn is the only person who can help out and answer questions, then why isnt she available at all???!!! I know and understand that she is busy managing new renovations to the place, but HEY reality check here! If you cant manage both, then ask for help and allow other people to help you out too Jenn. You wouldnt want to be ignored if it was your wedding and you had questions that only take 30 seconds to answer. If you want a place that is helpful and always there to answer any questions, then this is NOT the place to choose. This place hasnt changed sophia1998ish.

Beautiful park and really neat sculpture art, but they could really improve on their espresso. I ordered a large cappuccino yet was very confused about what made it a cappuccino. It was a 16oz yet only have a double shot, and the milk was wet without a cap or any sort of foam. However, they do have decent drip coffee and nitro cold brew and local kombucha on tap, so that definitely made up for it on my second visit to their coffee shop. They do keep the park very clean and have some neat nature programs and artwork in and around the art center, so I still really love this place, but their espresso really needs some work

I went to this place with my two kids (ages 2 and 3) and it was awesome! People are friendly, the trails and everything was well kept and clean. Plenty of convenient parking, and cleverly formed trails. There is even an island you can cross a bridge to get too. We also stopped in the visiting center and made a donation buy buying some cool rocks. We had a cookie and muffin and organic apple juice, all were very tasty. I wanted to try their smoothies, but I didnt bring very much money with me as it was not expected. I highly recommend this place for getting out of the house, fishing, exploring, and exercise.

Beautifully paved trails for walking or cycling, winding through wooded areas along the lake, or to open areas, including an outdoor amphitheater which is often the site for weddings. There are a couple of docks on the lake front for fishing or putting in a canoe. One path takes you over a bridge leading to a small island with several picnic tables. There is a lovely visitor center serving coffee and tea, with tables to chat with friends, or on their outdoor terrace. Finally, the center has a function room for rent for small parties or gatherings.

Such an awesome peaceful escape amidst the business of life. Beautiful walking paths thru prairie, hardwood & evergreen forests, marsh, and a sweet island. Cool art throughout trails. Main lodge has great coffee/lunch and is an awesome place to work/read. The green and stage has outdoor movies, concerts, plays throughout the summer that get pretty busy, but are awesome to go to. Also, downside is a lot of Pokemon ppl staring at their phones in the midst of gorgeous scenery....but I guess their outdoors?

My wife and I were so lucky to find Silverwood Park when planning our wedding. We looked at other places in the Three Rivers system but they all seem so busy and crowded at all hours. This park puts nature ahead of recreation and it was a truly beautiful venue inside and out. We were blessed with beautiful weather, but there was plenty of room indoors for our 200 or so guests. It is an awesome relaxing place just minutes outside the big city. My wife and I still head here to enjoy this park!

Every time I come to visit I cannot help but to check out the amazing view and fun art exhibits. The staff are great, albeit sometimes preoccupied. The ambience feels homey and welcoming inside and out. The food options have improved recently although sometimes the baked goods seem a little dry. Regardless of the minor flaws if you are looking for a good place to study and get your creative juices flowing silverwood park is the place to be. They even host cool educational events year round!

This park is incredible! In the two hours we were there, we saw four deer less than 100 feet away, Boreal Chorus Frogs singing in the swamps, and three Great Horned Owls!! I believe it was one mother owl and two juveniles. It was absolutely incredible. Add on top of that the beautiful scenery and serene walking paths with plenty of benches and off-shoots (and a fairy door!), and this park is one of my favorites in the area.

This is a big park with live music. Also has alot of great things to do. You can walk through the walk paths, the bridge where people can fish, to taking photos by the flowers....Alot I havent yet got to explore. Plus theres no admission fee to park or individuals to come. Which made it affordable also. The beach can be bigger and it needs more than one grill to grill. I feel too hidden there.

I work overnights and had the night off. So I decided to walk to Silverwood Park. Its actually quite beautiful during the cover of night with a huge full moon to light up the wilderness! I think its pretty much safe to assume how gorgeous the park would be during the day. An absolute breath taking experience, Im so thankful for having a park like this so close to where I live!

The young lady named "Elijah" inside the coffee shop is just amazing! She is so friendly and truly provides an exemplary level of customer service! It surprises me that someone so young has it so together but she is clearly going places in life! Its understandable why they have her as a first point of contact, clearly an asset! I am so impressed! Will most definitely return!

Wonderful facilities. If you are looking for a place to have an event like a wedding, you can not go wrong. If you are looking for a place to go on a first date, you cant go wrong. Cute coffee shop inside with a fireplace and clean restrooms. Nice short trails with a small amphitheater outside. There is a fire pit on the island. This is a perfect medium-sized park.
