This park has been a staple of the northside now for over a century. Dedicated to the men and women that sacrificed their lives in the great war. It has always been the safe place to bike, run, skate and walk in North Minneapolis. It has now become one of the real hotspots for Pokemon go, offering up over 100 pokestops and probably the most open safe place to walk long distances to hatch your eggs. The stops on 41st are so close they have become the central gathering place as lures are applied.

One of the best parks in Minneapolis. Massive stretch of green grass, trees and history. More statues, plaques and graves than you could read in a day. This is a phenomenal, relatively unknown park for the area. Come for the giant park, stay because Pokemon Go players are blocking intersections.

Great relatively flat stretch of parkway that goes on for miles. Perfect for nice long walks on a walking trail or through the grass under the trees. The biking trail is also great for young bikers or those looking for a easy way to put on a few miles and see Minneapolis.

Very serene park. Wide open places for kids to run around and a paved walking/biking path. Abundant free street parking. Uncrowded. If you play Pokémon Go, there are stops every few feet for over a mile, and a six-stop overlap thats usually lured.

Apparently I didnt drive fast enough though I was going the limit. Lots of mad drivers I kept having to pull on to side streets after too much hassle with local road rage drivers and too much honking to be respectful to our veterans.

Nice quiet neighborhood. Very respectful to our veterans, which I liked. Its fun to sit and look at the houses and neighborhood and imagine what it was like post WW2 with the new families moving in, settling down after the war.

This is an amazing place to walk/bike/rollerblade/what have you through. Be sure to check out the flag pole and the Lincoln statue. I like bringing a snack and watch all the pedestrian past by.

Beautiful memorial and very interesting information comes up when you look up the individual monuments. There are multiple Pokémon Go locations that have gyms and lures are up all of the time.

Pokémon Go hunters! Great green space with loads of Poke stops and lovely paths to hatch those eggs. Bring bug spray, and dont drink too much water as there is no restroom nearby.

It is a well maintained parkway. Plenty of room to play Frisbee, volleyball, etc lots of events are also on the parkway so plenty to do and lot of people to interact with

We used to live a few blocks from here in Minneapolis. Though weve since moved, I still enjoy coming back when I can. The trees and asphalt trails stretch on for miles.

Good place for a walk. A lot of people speed, 30 and above when speed limit is 25, and they run stop signs too. They use it less of a Parkway and more as a freeway.
