This stadium is AMAZIING. It is a huge improvement over the Metrodome. It has a very large beautiful exterior of the stadium with a great view of the field outside on the open end of the stadium. This is a college stadium with a college fell to it so be prepared. The sight lines are beautiful all the way around. TCF Bank Stadium has 5 main entry gates (not including the gate to get to the club seats and suites etc). Gates A, B, D, and E are open to the public Gate C (Closed end of the bowl) is a STUDENTS ONLY gate if you do not have a Student ID you cannot enter through that Gate. As well chairback seating is limited to the upper and lower decks from Goal line to Goal line appx the rest of the stadium is bleachers and Sections 111 -131 and 222 - 230 is the student section so again only students. The only problems I have is there is only on concourse for the entire stadium so if the event is anywhere full it is a nightmare, as well parking (if you dont have season ticket parking near the stadium) and the only tailgating parking available for single game use is the St. Paul lot on the State Fairgrounds but there is a free shuttle running to and from the stadium. DISCLAMER : This review is only for Golden Gopher Football, other events (Vikings Football, Soccer, concerts etc) vary by event. Parking is available at various locations on and off campus and may change due to availability or changed made by the University.

Just got home from the One DIrection concert. Staff was rude, impolite, and at times not very bright. Then my daughter and I were sitting at the end of the concert because we didnt want to fight the crowds, but we were told (rudely) that we could not sit in our seats that we had to leave. So we were forced to fight through the crowds of people. It took us about 20 minutes to get to our car in the ramp just across the street, THEN is took an hour and a half to get on the freeway, The worst traffic and crowd management I have ever seen, I never want to go to a concert there ever again, I hope they have a better plan in place for the Vikings games....,

$220-plus million dollars will buy a beautiful facility, but one questions the value of adding a fifth major sports stadium to a metropolitan area like the Twin Cities. Subsidizing the effort with state funds and student fees seems remarkably wasteful, and college athletics have been shown to detract funds (not add funds) to universities. The investment would have been better spent elsewhere, like the scrapped Northside Center that had been planned in the mid-aughts. Generally it seems wise to keep public money out of sports. Tax dollars and student fees are better spent elsewhere.

I am really amazed at how nice this stadium is overall. The view points are awesome everywhere in the stadium and the seats themselves are pretty comfortable. I recommend opting for the seat back cushion though to give that extra support. The jumbo tron is amazing too! I cant believe how clear and crisp the display is for that size. Also, the University of Minnesota built it smart by making it add-on capable. They have the ability to put on another "upper deck" horse shoe to the whole stadium. Overall its just amazing to have football outside again in Minnesota AND on campus!

The stadium is amazing! But the staff was super rude, which tainted my enjoyment of the DCI event last night. My cousin was marching in one of the groups, and yet we almost missed him, because no one told us about the purse size rule. The staff who took our tickets was really rude about it.. she told us to put our purses in the car... Except our car was far away We found out later from another attendee that they had a purse check The employee never told us about that.. she didnt really understand English... Your employees could use more customer service training

Bacana! Apesar da informação de horários de funcionamento no Google Maps, estes horários não são reais, pois o Estádio fora de datas de jogos é aberto ao público esporadicamente, sem padrão. Sanitários só dentro do local. Não tem WiFi free fora de dias de jogos.

Staff was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. I went for One Direction and one staff member took my friends sign that she stayed up all night making, folded it in half, and threw it away, she didnt even get a chance to put it in her car, she talked to the head security and got the same rude response saying the sign was provocative when it was only a song lyric. They were pushy and were also really bad at controlling traffic, sat in the parking lot for over an hour when tried to leave.

Excellent college football stadium. The field runs East to West. The main stands are on the North and the South. The South stands - facing North - are closer to the entrance and the Gophers team is on that side. The visiting team is on the North side. The South stands are never in the Sun. The North stands are in the Sun until late afternoon in November. In the early fall it might be hot in the North stands. In November you might want the warmth of the Sun in the North stands.

This stadium is alive during the Gopher football season. Parking sucks unless youre in the 4th st. Ramp, but its down town so what do you expect. Everything is pretty new and in good condition. Theres not really a bad seat in the stadium. The home seats in the winter can get a little cold so if youre choosing where to sit youll want to sit on the away side come November. Very excited and enthusiastic college crowd. They now serve beer too even though its a college stadium!

Nice stadium with all services and very food view of the pitch. The big issue is that the main stand are always in the shades of the skybox structure, and with Minneapolis weather it means those places are really cold. On three other hand, seats on front of the skyboxes are sunny. I found incredible they did not consider to have the skyboxes on the other side and have the sun to shine on all the stadium. Watching Minnesota vs Iowa was real fun though.

Attended in mid-September on a partly cloudy day, and enjoyed it immensely. I could see how the North side would get super hot on a fully sunny day but it was nice on my visit. The molded plastic seats were comfortable enough, and visibilty of the field was uniformly good (end zone views are still end zone views, of course, but the seats are mostly close to the field). Concessions were adequate. Parking nearby is pretty expensive ($25 for a nearby lot).

I feel like this stadium dosnt take the DCI event seriously. The line for will call took twice as long as the ticket line. We arrived 45 minutes early and still missed the first group because there was only one gate open and minimal staff to search everyone. It just shouldnt take that dang long to get in. The event started and over half of the fans were still wrapped around the building trying to get in.

The stadium itself is clean, but the staff are not very nice (particularly at the gate and the security personnel). It is terrible to get parking here - plan to spend $10-20. There are handicapped accessible places, but this facility was designed without this in mind. Once inside and seated it is nice. The seats are numbered metal benches. Overall 3 stars.
