Great dog park. Big enough that if your dog is on the shy side, you can avoid playing with the big group until your dog gets comfortable. Because you have to have a permit for Hennepin County dog parks, the people that go to this park care about taking care of it. Most are VERY good about picking up after their dogs. The trees provide shade so your dog can take a break on sunnier and warmer days. The people that go are friendly and are very aware of where their dog is and what their dog is doing.

Good place for our pup to run around with other dogs. Terrain lacks much variety -- its all dirt & wood chips. The park itself doesnt offer much apart from the other dogs. Most are friendly, though we have run into one or two problems (as with any dog park). The park has a couple of beat up water bowls, but Id recommend bringing something for your dog to drink out of (and plenty of water).

Plenty of space to spend time alone with your pup or socialize. Its a little muddy now because of the rain. The benches could use some upkeep and lighting would be nice. Make sure you get a dog park license Ive heard the fine for violation is very high. My brothers dog is very large and active, and loves coming here to run and fetch his ball.

Big open space, which is nice because you can just keep walking down. People here are more attentive to their dogs than a certain dog park near Lake of the Isles. The one benefit Lake of the Isles dog park would have to this would be that there is a small dog side.

Big park, well covered in wood chips, and easy parking. At times almost too big - would prefer a few different areas instead of one big one - sometimes I just want the dog to run a bit and am not really interested in socializing with other dogs let alone humans.

Great dog park. 4 shaded benches for humans. Very large park. Only Minnehaha is bigger. Friendly ppl and pets. Just a couple of heads up. There is no water so bring ur own and park police stop by fairly frequently so make sure u have ur dog park license.

Pretty place, but very dirty. There is a spot near the middle where it looks like years of dogs digging there have made it a dirt pile, and the dogs, of course, want to roll all around in it. Very fun for the dogs though!

Great fenced in dog park with plenty of space for my dog to run around, even when its crowded during peak hours. 4 stars because it does not have good lighting for the dark winter months like Lake of The Isles does.

The park itself is pretty lackluster. Moderately sized enclosure with a few trees and some woodchips. What is great about this park is the dogs and dog owners.
