My wife and I attended the race on June 7th and dispite the chilly weather we had a absolute blast. It has been since the late 1970s that we attended a race at Elko and I was totally shocked to see the total transformation from what it was back years ago to what this beautiful racing facility is today. Minnesota and I have to say the country has to be quite proud of having such a wonderful racing complex at the Minnesota Elko Speedway. I also have to mention that Jim Kane and I went to High School togather and I want to publically thank both Jim and his brother Bud (Raising Kane Racing) for the hospitality they showed us. Very Disappointing Went out there and they could not race due to the rain. I completely understand that it would not have been safe. However, they then will not return your money they give you a rain day ticket, and it is only good for two weeks. Between me and my group we unwillingly were forced to donate $60 basically as we can not make it back there in time for these tickets. This was and likely will be my first and last trip there. Also important to note that the ticket disclaimer says you can be refunded if the event is cancelled, it does not tell you it will not be cash.

Well run short track. Limited food options but appropriate for this type of venue. Large bar with live music under the stands (enclosed). Free outdoor movies after the races start later in the season. Special events "Eve of Destruction" are great entertainment. When we went to one of them in between races were monster trucks, drifters and the end school bus figure 8 races. After the races the pits are open to the public and the drivers and owners are happy to answer questions.

Went today for my first ever visit and it got rained out which was understandable but they gave us a rain check that we have to use in the next two weeks or lose our money. We gave cash we should get cash back. THEY ROBBED US. I want my money back. Thieves.

Eve of distruction, crowded sat down low could not see with all the people standing in walkways watching racing.Ned to change this so everyone can see what they pay for.Alsomove the smokers to the bleachers and see how they respond.

Fun spot for a first date or family outing or simply people watching! Elko also has a Drive-In movie theater (included with the purchase of race tickets). And the refreshment concession serves tasty food! Lots of parking.

Im from the New Prague area, and I absolutely love going back down to my neck of the woods to enjoy a good old, loud American time. The Speedway is always a positive, entertaining and communal place to go! Check it out!

Great track short, love the local flare with school bus racing. Close to the action of the track. Beautiful upgrades. My only dislike was there is smoking in the grandstand seating area.

Seriously the best! Easy to find! Figure 8 track! Racing and crashing! Fun for kids and adults!! Very intense if you like racing at all! Drifters! They even have a drive in theater!

It was pretty much everything it was advertised as. If you can, bring a camping chair if youre going on a busy day. The chicken tender basket for $6 wasnt bad either.

Over priced but its the best racing around the cites because its the closest to the cites. Otherwise drive a little farther out and find one of the better tracks.
