Great place to play Pokemon Go but be respectful of the park rules, veterans memorial, and other park visitors. The city has received a lot of complaints about littering, people climbing on the memorials, and smoking. If you see someone leaving trash in the park please pick it up and help keep the park clean so we will continue to be welcome. If you see people breaking other park rules simply informing them of the local rules respectfully is all it takes to make sure we can all enjoy the park together. Dont be a jerk.

Its a nice little park, connected to a local tail system, and conveniently located for anyone who works near the Eden Prairie Center. The fishing is pretty good for bass and pan fish. The park has been very popular among Pokémon Go players as a good location to find (and farm) water type Pokemon, including Polywag, Magikarp, and Psyduck. Other Pokémon that make regular appearances are Jynx, Drowsee, Staryu, and sometimes Dratini.

Beautiful park with a big lake and a veteran war memorial. There are trails, plenty of parking spaces, public restrooms, and a big picnic shelter area. Perfect for a nice jog/walk around the lake or if youre into Pokémon Go, theres a few pokestops also. Purgatory Creek Park is one of the things I missed most when I lived in Eden Prairie and I wished we had something similar where Im at now.

This park holds a special place in my heart because so many great events happened here! Its always clean and theres a small Boardwalk over the water. Theres also a trail that goes around the lake, its always peaceful and safe, and theres lots of picnic tables under the pavilion. Chipotle, caribou, noodles and company, and more are at a walking distance from here as well.

I went here to play pokemon, when that was still a thing. They have several pokestops in this park, and several are close enough that you can get them over and over again without moving at all. There are some nice trails to walk on here, and plenty of parking - although it looks like youre parking in a random business parking lot, but apparently its not theirs.

Nice park, close to Purgatory Lake. Its quiet here and theres a nice memorial. Its got a lot of seating where you can watch people on the walking path and look over the lake. Access to a walking path that goes around the lake and connects to a path that goes to. Lake Staring. I docked it a star because its a little short on shade.

The park in very nice it offers biking trails walking trails and a pavilion for events and to sit and eat. The flowers are very pretty and the bathrooms are clean and well maintained and the walk out deck to the pond is great for viewing the pond and pictures and if your lucky you can even see the local wild life

Love this park and the walking trails around it. Eden Prairie has done a nice job with landscaping and maintaining this park. It is one of our all time favorites for family walks. We only wish they would place a bathroom facility half way through the trails.

Go for the pokemon, stay for the lovely view. Such a nice place, lovely landscaping. We go here for pokédates frequently. Bring a blanket to sit on and a snack while relaxing. Simply lovely.

Nice location and facilities. Easy access right off I494. As a bonus, its got 6 pokestops for Pokemon Go players right at the entrance and a natural spawning area for several water types!

The Pavillion park is connected to a trail that goes all the way around the lake. There is a great veterans memorial, and a lot of shady areas of grass to have picnics on.
