Came here to dry camp for one night. In my email, I indicated that we were not needing hook ups, only a place to park for the night. I was told it would be $3. Wow, I was pleased. When I arrived at 4:30 PM on my arrival date, the staff ignores me for a good 3 minutes while they carried on a conversation (there were no other customers). I was told that I would have to pay $20 to dry dock (park) in the gravel/ground asphalt lot. No other sites or options were offered, even though later I noticed that many sites were available with water and electric. I dont know why they would think I would be pleased to park in gravel with no services for $20. Actually, Im pretty sure they didnt care. UPDATE 7/12 RESPONSE to RESPONSE. Yes, I clearly indicated in my e-mail that my family and I would be staying in the trailer one night and did not need hookups. I knew the rate sounded too good to be true but I saw no need to question. The real question is, with so many sites available with hookups, why would you not offer a site rather than park someone in a gravel parking lot for $20? Sorry, no excuse for this terrible service.

The road in is the service drive to I-94 so easy to navigate. The roads in the park are gravel. Check in was fast and friendly. There are around 100 sites with a mix of hook ups from 30 amp to full. Sites are gravel and level with grass and on the narrow side. A picnic table and fire ring are available if you want them. There is very little road noise and the camp is quiet. Shopping and eating are close by and you are just minutes from Ann Arbor. We were in Site 28 and had full hook ups with 50 amp. No issue with the hook ups and water pressure was good. Site was just long enough for our 37-foot RV and tow-dolly and parking the car. There is plenty of space to walk the dog. We did not use the bath house or laundry. WiFi was okay and our Verizon signal was strong. We stayed June 13-20, 2017 and paid $35.10 a night with our Good Sam discount.

The campsite was what I thought it would be for a fairground campsite. Clean, but no frills. The bathroom was quite far from out site and there was only one of them. This is definitely not a place to spend several days at, but a place you can park your camper and see some nearby sites. It was inexpensive, quiet and the services worked which is fine for a place to park for a night or two. I would not recommend it for a vacation site to play at; it is a competent site to come back to at the end of sightseeing.

Spent two weeks here visiting friends and relatives and enjoyed the 4th of July. This is a fairgrounds so spaces are in a grassy field. We had a site with 30 amp and water. There is a dump station on site. The people who run the RV park are very helpful and nice. They showed us our site before we checked in to make sure it was ok. Laundry was clean as was the shower house. There is a Walmart, Meijer as well as a Camping World store close by. Would stay here again. Camped in a 5th wheeler.

Most sites have upgraded electric and water, some, the middle row, have new sewer. They have no plans for more sewer. Hardy a tree in the camping area. Shower house is clean but well worn. No laundry seen. Most roads are paved with asphalt millings, hardly any dust. There are no pads, park on the grass, fairly level. There are not many tables or fire rings.

Very nice, RV site on grass, full hook ups w/50 amp, water and sewer. They have sites with not full hook ups. Showers and laundry. Propane fill up. I didnt go in the bathrooms, but my husband was impressed with how clean they were. Convenient to stores and restaurants. You can walk to Walmart. I would stay there again.

Good facilities, sites are level, grass, elect and water they also have a dump station. Everything looked clean and well kept, ladies in the office were nice. Easy in and out. Would stay here again. Went to the Ford Museum, Factory and Dearfield Village while here, not a bad drive from campground.

Mary at the front office is VERY friendly and goes out of her way to help. The campground itself is well maintained and clean. Free showers. Laundry on site. In the middle of a city so dont expect wilderness, but very nice if you plan on exploring the urban area.

This establishment is very unprofessional and extremely racist. The staff were very rude, chastising our guests (even children) before our event was even over. Please do not ever patronize this business.

Affordable RV parking and perfect for busy holiday weekends when other places are booked. Wifi was too weak to pick up at my spot and bathrooms were a little scary.
