Newburyport, MA is one of those picturesque little towns along the Merrimack river, lots of great eatries, and a scenic riverwalk. New Hampshire Fishermen and Women use two main types of fishing gear: sink gillnet and otter trawl. Both gear types are used to catch ground fish. Gillnet gear is a stationary, fixed gear that traps fish as they swim into the net. Trawls are mobile gear that scoops fish up as it passes through schools. Trawlers fish less area and make fewer tows, and gillnetters check and reset their gear daily.

Beautiful location, easy parking, great waterfront concerts and nice restaurants nearby! We love to stroll the boardwalk here and watch the boats and listen to locals play music from a park bench. Great walk for the pup too!

Perfect spot for a mid-winter walk! Nice downtown area with lots of restaurants to choose from, benches & tables all along the boardwalk and also dog friendly.
