The Good. Course very well maintained. The Bad. Staff. Tried to get 9 in before dark on a weekday. Waited 15 minutes for a starter (or anyone) to appear to give us our carts. Rudely told about 40 times carts need to be in by 8. There are no signs that indicate where tee boxes are. None. Not even at the tee box itself. The only notice is a 5 inch plague buried under grass to know youre on the 15th and not the 7th. Confusing course to get from hole to hole. At 7:50 the starter lurked behind us for 2 holes. Then at 8:02 came over and grabbed the carts and told us to walk the rest. We were finishing up the 8th. Get new management and add signs and maybe well come back. Im not even taking into consideration the loud neighborhood block party in the parking lot after we finished. The course needs a lot of "golf related" fixes. Cant do anything about where its located.

Right from the start, prior to even getting on hole 1, we were scolded by a very old angry man for having a cooler in our cart that was closed shut not exposing any alcohol. He yelled at us to cover up our cooler and immediately started our day with a bad vibe and very un profesionall experience in what is expected to be a fun and relaxing game. The course itself was managed poorly and very hilly. At one point there was a family with two kids and two dogs running around on the green of hole 8 playing with the flag and chasing geece while we were trying to shoot. Terrible experience overall I would recommend staying away from this course and that old decrepit man at hole numero uno

Great course. Beware the white haired starter. He is a total psychopath. He acts like youre there to serve him. I get that its not a country club, but he could still treat people decently. You can tell that hes been in trouble before because it seems like this year the other employees tell him hes not allowed to talk to golfers. The other starter, Snookie, is the man. One cool cat.

Challenging yet fun. Lots if fescue and grass not a lot of trees or water Well operated and maintained for an inner city municipal. Leagues play after 530pm but the pro shop will try to accommodate you and your group if you play then. The staff have a lot to deal with in terms o of security and maintenence so treat them well. Cons: no par 5 on the front.

Good 18-hole course in great condition for a good price. A couple challenging dog legs and a few holes you have to play blind. Clubhouse vibe is great, good food, good beer selection, plenty of tables inside and out. Friendly staff.

They follow you around making sure you didnt bring your own alcohol. They even go in your cooler to make sure you dont have alcoholic beverages

Nice classic Donald Ross layout. Good mix of hard and, not so hard holed. Great par 3s! Excellent condition for a city owned course.

Pretty good shape for a muni. Somewhat challenging but no Par 5s on the front.
