My wife and I were on a 3 day trip to Portland and had booked our brew bus tour weeks ahead of time. We planned our daily itinerary around the tour, and were excited to go. The night before, Brew Bus called us and said they canceled on us due to low bookings. We wanted to reschedule, but they could not accommodate us on any other tours except one which was a completely different time. On the bright side, they refunded us our money. However, it was particularly disappointing that they could not have let us know further ahead of time. Why would any company think that less than 24 hours notice is acceptable, and be so nonchalant about disrupting customers vacations. Beware if you book them.

I have been wanting to do the Brew Bus since we moved to Maine in August. I was surprised with the trip for my birthday in November. This was everything I wanted it to be and more!! The brewery selections were wonderful, the samples were eclectic, and the staff of both the brew bus and breweries ware both kind and overjoyed to share their passion for beers and other fermented goodies. J.C. and Mike (our driver and guide respectively) were not only knowledgeable, but kept things fun and lively. I would absolutely recommend this activity to anyone visiting, living, or passing through the Portland, Maine area. A one of a kind experience! Thank you BREW BUS!!!

I work in the beer industry and am very knowledge about all things beer. That being said, This tour was fun informative and entertaining! Don was our tour guide. He did a great job of tying local history with the beer industry in ME. For me it is a must going forward when in Portland. Not sure I would go more than once a year but think it would be an every year type tour! If you are in Portland and are looking for away to enhance your trip take the tour! (We did the Casco Fiasco.)

My wife Tara and I decided to give the Maine Brew Bus a go on our vacation in Portland. We were both very impressed/pleased with the amount of knowledge the staff (Adam + Ashlee) had about the brewing process and local brewery scene. They were both engaging and found ways to make beer fun for everyone. There was plenty of time at each stop and more beer samples than anyone could want during the trip. The Maine Brew Bus is a great way to spend an afternoon in Portland.

Just finished the tour. It was a ton of fun. Normally I am not the type of person to enjoy something like this. I started out very reserved but Liz, who was running her first trip, help me ease into the idea. We hit four breweries including oxbow which was particularly phenomenal. All of the people on the bus became shockingly close and were able to share our love of beer. The trip was well worth it and a strong recommend to anyone with a free afternoon in Portland.

We took "family" and rented a whole bus to do Casco Fiasco.... First, organization- this company has it all together, extremely good communication, organization & execution. I was shocked at the quality from such a small company. Casco Fiasco is a great tour because it also includes lunch & takes one to some very creative breweries. Great way to experience the whole "beer explosion" in Maine. We are already looking at other tours. Great company, highly recommended!

The Brew Bus is awesome! I could not recommend it more than anything!! My girlfriend and I showed up a bit late because our lunch was held up and Dawn was nice enough to stick with us and personally drive us to the first Brew Bus stop. The rest of the tour went flawlessly and had a ton of interesting knowledge, great beers, and awesome people on the bus with us.

So much fun! Lots of information (Kelly & Mike were great), enthusiastic guides, variety of samples (the Meade sample and your were great) good amount of samples, outstanding hand pies, fun times! Im not a beer efficianciato but toured with some friends who are and we all had a blast!

Definitely beware--of last minute cancelling due to low bookings. I too had planned my brief visit to Portland ME around their tour. The representative who called told me I would get a refund, but this does not offset the sudden inconvenience.
