Some of the older gentlemen who work for the club are a bit unfriendly and snobbish. They are very strict about their dress code so ask about it when making your tee time. The mosquitoes and deer flies are the biggest and nastiest I have ever seen. I lathered on the bug spray and they were still biting! Bring the strongest mosquito spray you can find. The course gets pretty soggy after a rain storm. When booking a tee time get the phone number off their website because the phone number in Google is WRONG. All this being said, it is a great layout and the fairways and greens are well manicured. The greens are VERY challenging. Its not too long. I am a bogey golfer and played the blue tees and shot 94 and 91. If you are vacationing in the area you should also check out Biddeford-Saco Country club which is also a great course, but the people are much friendlier and they have a nice bar and restaurant that is open to the public.

From Afar the course looked beautiful, but the pro refused to let us play due to the fact my 77 year old grandfather was wearing a pair of brand new, freshly pressed shorts that happend to have pockets on the side. If you do read the rules before traveling 200 miles to come play golf, they do specify that cargo shorts are not allowed, however, it was the mannor in which the pro delivered this information to us that was appalling. He was completely rude, demeaning, and humiliating, almost as thoigh we didnt deserve to breath the same air. Long story short, make sure you read all the rules before coming here because they also have a logo rule. If the logo on your shirt is bigger than their logo, you are denied the right to play. Sounds like someone is suffering from small "logo" envy!

Great course...I played at this course several times last year and enjoyed the layout. The greens are a challenge which are also some of the best manicured Ive seen in the State.

Love the course great shape considering the rain. Fourth time playing there. A little pricey but sometimes you have to pay up. Great course!!!!!
