There are more prostitutes than patrons. Watch your drink. Well, first off I wouldnt even call this place a club. It is more like a bar with a very small dance floor. There are no classy clubs in New Orleans, but this place gives a new meaning to trashy. To the other ladies complaining about being thrown out or people hitting on your man, there is a reason for this. They mainly want men because 95% of the females present are trying to work these men. Its not like Vegas with higher class escorts, these are really trashy prostitutes that belong on a street corner. They arent even dressed hot enough to be in a club. I watched two of them force drinks down an already plastered old mans throat and drag him out to rob him. Beware of the type of people in this place. Out of everywhere Ive went in the world, this and the bars on Bourbon street bring a completely new meaning to trashy. If you dont want you or your man to be pestered by prostitutes and junkies every time you turn around this isnt the place for you. Same thing goes if you are used to getting hot and going out to the club. You dress how you are supposed to and you will stand out like a sore thumb.

Terrible. The "shot girl" forced me and my friends to take shots, LITTERALLY SHPVED THEM IN OUR MOUTH, and I CLEARLY told her no, and would didnt want to pay. After she pushed 3 vials in my mouth, and walked away, I assumed they were complimentary since it was a slow night and she didnt ask for payment or indicate there was a charge. Then she shortly proceeded to tell the bartender she couldnt find the receipt where I paid for the shots. After a argument of the "she said she said" shots were unfortunately paid for, because Im not crooked, but the terrible people that work there are. Just dont go in, so many fun bars on bourbon, this one isnt worth the time, and the money that you dont expect to pay there.

Early Sunday afternoon my wife and I heard a live band and ended up walking into Fat Catz. It was a party in there, going strong while the rest of the quarter was pretty sleepy. Cheap drinks, didnt look like there was food, but Im not sure. Nice open area to dance and watch the band. Two bars with good service. Id give it five stars, but its a bourbon street dive bar, so hard to stomach a full five. Check it out for an authentic NOLA live music experience.

I got thrown out because one of the "Shot Girls" decided she was interested in putting a move on my boyfriend and talking crap to me. Management really needs to deal with her. Well, he left with me and her plan didnt work. Other than that, the bartenders, other shot girls and music were awesome. Watch out for that brunette shot girl, she is trouble and she works things to separate you and your man then your man from his money.. NOT This Time!

Decided to stop in here while waiting to meet up some friends and was probably the better of clubs on that part of the street. The music was alright and the fact there were two large bars on either side of the place really let you be able to get a drink without having to worry about large crowds taking up space and blocking you from the bar. The crowds were good and the bartenders were quick and friendly.

The Kannection Band that plays R&B and some rock oldies as well as Funk and Soul is one of the best you will hear in the French Quarter ... the guys can flat-out play/sing/entertain - especially whee nthey bring out their brass pieces on a Monday Night ... go deh Mr. Base player Jeff, Kevin lead singer and Marcelo ( I think) rhythm guitaris and of course all the other members of the band!!! Love them!!

Upon arrival shot girl gave us the appearance that the first shot would be complimentary; however, our two shots ended up costing us $40. Band seemed good but this situation put us in an awkward position so we left. Would not recommend it to people who are not looking to over spend, or be seemingly be forced to do so.

My lady and I went there early evening Sunday 8/23/15. Great bands playing, nice and attentive bar tenders. However the dj blasted his music so loud we had to leave. He should try not to play his music at such ear-damaging levels; which made me think hes an amateur. The band didnt play that loud.

Stopped in this horrible place with two other ladies at the insistence of the bouncer. We go to the bar and the bartender says to the bouncer "no get them out of here." We have no idea why and never received an explanation. We left peacefully and spent our money elsewhere.

This place is a dump. It smells like rotten beer, there were multiple people smoking joints and the bouncers were out of control. Saw them eject a guy for no reason! I would avoid this club. Tried to ask for a manager to complain and they honestly could care less!!!!

My absolute favorite place to go every time I visit back home. I get there around midnight and walk out around 7 am. Thats how much fun it is and how fast time flies when youre having fun. Atlanta needs to take some notes and get with the program. I love you fat catz.

This past weekend (last weekend in Jan 2015), a new band LC Smoove, was there during the day. They were great.!The regular bands are great all the time and the club is very good for live music and all the stuff you go to Bourbon St. for.

MC JesseE was absolutely amazing. I felt like I was witnessing a new art form take flight. He had the entire crowd fully engaged and having a blast. Bravo, Fat Catz for giving the stage to such an outstanding entertainer!

The bands are amazing! I live across the street so I get the pleasure of both the busy, and not so busy French Quarter moments. I must say regardless of a crowd of 100+, or 15 this place is always the place to be!

Great atmosphere, great mysic, food was okay. The alligator was tough hard to chew. Nice view of burbon street, able to watch and see whats going on on Bourbon Street. A lot of activity and crazy people.

Good music friendly bartender. Two for one is nice but paying twice the price just to get two bottles bites. How about half the price and Ill buy another if I wanted one.

Listen. This is where you go to see talent. I just run here to start the night because I know they only book good bands. Booze is ubiquitous, 3 part harmonies are not.
