I know some inside details about this restaurant. The employees in the kitchen are all illegal immigrants who have bed bugs. they pay them under the table, they lie to the authorities. They spit in the food. They even had put some marijuana on some pizzas. I would not go back or ever eat there if I was you. The illegal activity and pure disregard for cleanliness and service standards is horrendous, not to mention everything else. Good luck!

Went there today. Very disappointed, first waiter/tender had a personality similar to a rock, second, a family was there and thier children were running around the entire place, around our table. Everywhere, on the floor,,, think the staff would say something, nope!! Then the meal, way overpriced salid, and the Rubin,,, so small, lesson learned

Simsbury Don

I have been coming to the Maple Tree for 13 years. The service under current ownership has dropped considerably. On nights with bands they insist on a cover charge even if you want to stay out on the deck. Fortunately, there are better choices in town now.

We have gone to Maple Tree for years and sort of got tired of the menu. Went last night and realized they have a new menu, but more important the food was great. Service was great. Loved the Brushetta and the Meatballs. Glad we went back!!

Service was good but food was bad. Burnt bread. My fish and chips was good but no seasoning, bland! My husbands chicken parmesan was burnt beyond belief--burnt, dry, and served in thick tomato paste sauce. Very disappointing, we wont be back.

Happy night dancing and cocktails to a new to me band. My friend forgot his debit card. We called the day. The bartender laughed with us and it was safely in the bar register. That next day we had a scrumptious late lunch.
