A gem of a place jammed in along the coast between San Pedro and Palos Verdes. Theres some great walks here and wonderful vistas of the Pacific. The trails will keep you well occupied and the place marks quite the difference from San Pedro on the other side of Gaffey street. The trails wind on and on and the paths down to the beach are surprisingly accessible. Parking is plentiful and free in several lots. This is a great place to do some nice day hikes and theres a small nature center there too.

I remember this also being the Area of the " Marine Land Amusement Park " Years Ago. ( Ok I am showing my age here) but I also have a knife in my collection from that Era. Even says Marine Land. So much to learn about the rich history of the Area be warned it will take days to take it all in, but if you love history about the land, Marine Biology and the Southern California Coast Line, Make this your first stop !!! Well worth your value and time.

This place has seen better days. The tide pools used to have more life in them, and there was certainly less trash. Now it seems this place is infested with feral cats. Littered with beer cans and shards of glass from broken beer bottles, and the tide pools might as well be as sterile as the surface of mars. Its a damn shame because this used to be one of the best places to look at tide pools.

To get to the White Point Nature Preserve just take Western Ave toward the ocean and turn left on Paseo del Mar. Paseo del Mar will come to a dead end where the landslide occurred and the parking lot for the preserve will be on your left.

The guide is so cool. The displays are great Parking is cool See the native plant and animal life Go see the disused cold war missile defense silos and bunkers. Check out the landslide too.

Cant Really get there now after the cliff sliding into the ocean They now closed Paseo Del Mar going east, at Western Av to all traffic. Its very sad and who how long it will last.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The foliage was out of this world. Bird watching was amazing. View was spectacular. Very relaxing, secluded, and peaceful!

The GLORY DAYS are GONE. A once clean park is now a trash dump for inconsiderate LITTER BUGS. It still has spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean
