Snow Park sounds like a place were you can lie on your back and make snow angles. This park has only two events that I know of, its Oakland Running Festival and food trucks. During the day its a nice place to rest or take a break if you work nearby. However, in the evening, its not ideal to even think about sitting on park bench. When its sundown, the transients get around sometimes in larger groups. I suggest holding nothing of value when youre walking by after dark and keep car doors lock so your belongings dont get gank.

Snow park has a lot of potential. Its large and open which makes it great to bring a group of friends or your dog. You get views of both downtown and the lake as well! Unfortunately half of the park is currently closed off due to construction. Additionally this park somehow manages to stay full of litter probably due to the temporary trash cans that never seem to be removed. Its also a popular spot for bums since there is a random open port-o-potty in the park.

Odd spot. Homeless people hang out and like to ask for things....which is ok, but sometimes its too much. Otherwise, be careful parking nearby as peoples windows have been smashed in broad daylight. Sucks. Too bad.

Apparently this park used to be a putting green (there are signs that indicate this), but now its just grass. Other than that, theres isnt much in this area, although food trucks do stop by here for lunch on Wednesdays.

Love Snow Park as a little oasis in the middle of downtown. I spend my lunch breaks laying in the grass soaking in the sun. As long as you dont go during high school lunch hour, you should find this park relaxing.

nice big green area meter parking all around the park usually bums like the hang out here really nothing to do unless you have a big lawn game that needs large space, but then again lots of goose poop

Its a nice business Park that unfortunately turned into a homeless encampment a few years ago. I think the construction work taking place has relocated some of those folks however.

This would be a great park if the geese werent allowed free rein around here -- you cant take a step without landing in goose poop. Oh well, were a bird-sanctuary city.

My dog used to love this park. Unfortunately its now filled with garbage and half of it has been bulldozed for a some rec center.
