I came here during Halloween for the "Ghost Train". The line was crazy long (probably took about 2 hrs) but they sold snacks once you made it closer to the front (and LED lights). Come here with a group of friends to keep you busy in line and then once you get to ride the train- its about a 10-15 minute ride of fun quirky decorations! The train is great, you sit on a bench like seat and its cold so bundle up! I had a great time and would do it again. My favorite part was the galaxy tunnel... lasers, smoke & a tunnel. Yes.

Surely staffed by the most crotchety human beings in Los Angeles, so be prepared for that. $3 train rides that blow travel town and the train by the ponies clear out of the water. Beautiful work and a nice long ride through meticulously crafted dioramas, bridges and tunnels. Great views of grown men sitting on tiny trains, filling them full of tiny coal with tiny shovels. Kids under 3 feet tall, and even infants strapped to parents are viciously prohibited. Get there early.

We just drove all the way from the Inland Empire to share this experience with our three kiddos, and we were soo blessed by the staff and the train ride! Just like I remember it when I was a little girl. Thank you for bringing a smile to our childrens faces!

Great place to take the kids, good people running the RR and always open to questions. The train ride is over 7 minutes long with some good views, I like the long tunnels. Takes about 15 minutes to get on a train. JJ

Interesting displays on development of US train service. Up close views of trains & vintage autos/trucks. Fun ride on small steam driven railroad (great for kids; young & old!).

good luck getting a steamer. Elitist members dont volunteer. mandatory donations are not bad but this is ultimately a closed club.
