The owner was rude and aggressively violent toward me, a woman. During a music event at this venue, my husband and I and our married friends had just entered the place, and within the first five minutes of our arrival, the owner of the place pushed through the crowd and bumped against me, roughly. I am a woman and he is significantly larger than me. Somehow in his rage or confusion, he proceeded to yell profanities in my face and tell me not to push him. I thought he was a patron who had too much liquor. I was greatly disappointed to find out he was the owner. He further used his ownership to intimidate me and my fellow guests, and told us to "meet him outside". Not knowing who he was, we ignored him and tried not to engage with his aggressive behavior. He then had his bouncer approach and threaten me and my guests. We were so sickened by the whole situation, we immediately decided not to stay and asked for our money back, as we had literally just walked in for five minutes. He refused to refund us after he was the arbiter of the abuse. I am reporting him to the Better Business Bureau and I would greatly discourage anyone from patroning this venue, especially women, if they dont want to be subjected to this volatile behavior that is facilitated by the very owner of the space.

The Globe Theatre has great potential but, the owner behaves in a manor that indicates serious problems which he should seek the help of a mental health professional for! Most everything is going well until the owner starts ranting and raving like Mel Gibson on his worst days, then all sorts of problems start. The owner is an old, thin, bald, French man who likes to be referred to as "Eric the Great." His delusions of grandeur seem to be consistent with his paranoid belief that he and his business are the target of an international conspiracy. Way too much Alex Jones and Marine Le Pen nonsense for him, he seriously needs a nice safe hobby to keep him away from running the theater into the ground. The best way to save the Globe Theatre is to become an employee owned CO-OP!

Outstanding, sensual, sexual, tasteful, highly erotic, gripping, tantalizingly fun and it kept me on the edge of my seat with DELIGHT....it was everything..I felt like a was in time warp taken back into a 1920s theater peering into a peep show it was so hot! The atmosphere was decedent, the ambiance was amazing and the music was incredible. The dancers were the icing on a very delicious cake. All that and "The Cuban Missile Crisis" its a wonder I made it out of there in one piece ? Tease, if you please is like nothing youve experienced in LA thus far it is a must see !

The owner is rude to his customers, myself included and, his employees. I wont go there again, telling all my friends to do the same! LA talent can easily find a better place to perform. Most upsetting, from what I have seen and been told the last time I was there, they are replacing all visible non-white employees who have worked there for years, with young hipster white people! SHAME!

I was here for the RAW Artist event. Great theatre for pop-up events and concert type free floating. Definitely not a sit-down. Would definitely come again. It is part of historic downtown los angeles. I cant imagine what it looked like in its height of the century.

I went to see Mono last night at the Globe what a great time I had.Excellent acoustics beautiful venue easy parking ,close and cheap.i just moved here from south Florida I would rate this better than anything South Florida has,highly recommend enjoy.

Went there for a show by Donna Good, called TEASE AS YOU PLEASE ".. A great entertainment and must see. Very sophisticated and sexy.. Love it! Especially the surprising part at the end. Its so hilarious. Highly recommended for couples...

When I opened a tab with my driving license they gave it back to me cut in half !!!! Such an irresponsible thing !!! Even the owner didnt so anything he just said it might have ended up in the trash ... Just go somewhere else
