I was surprised that by the end of the show, I got more than I thought I would get when the show started. There is barely a story line, but I didnt go for drama; I went to see Allegra Angelo sing and dance. Whether it was rumba or cha cha or salsa, Allegra carried it off with that tantalizing smile that occasionally splits her face into this big generous love of dancing and singing. As the only female among four guys she is danced around and sung to by all the Joses, something she also does as Anita in West Side Story at the Palm Canyon Theater. Her polished moves are accented by an excellent score and band featuring piano and a conga that provoked us to keep time clapping our hands. Each Jose is authentic when they sing songs about Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Cuba. There are some traditional songs, dance tunes we all know, and ballads such as Beso Me Mucho. Together with Allegras smile that sweetens her sexiness, the songs and choreography makes the show the success that it is. Thanks Indio.

A hidden gem in the old town Indio area, love that they are opening the venue to local community programs and providing entertainment for all ages with local talent. A good place to ahowcase music and art. :-)
