Had a wonderful experience here. The bartender, Sierra, respects her craft and made a good old fashion, my standard when visiting any place calling itself a speakeasy or whiskey bar. There was a $10 minimum on cards (I try to have enough cash usually but had enjoyed another bar earlier a little too much) so I followed up with a Hot Buttered Rum. First time having it as it was a cooler night, and they had a Hot Treats menu for the season (nice, and the rest of the drink menu was seasonal as well. Bonus!) Live band was a Jazz compilation. They knew their stuff. Played standards and originals. Just dont expect to have a conversation in a 20 x 25 foot space with live wind and percussion instruments going on. Leave the marriage proposals for the musical interludes. Yeah, physics sucks, cant complain though, so just enjoy the music. Its better then a juke box.

We set at the bar over 25 min. People came in after us & even set next to us the young girl never once acknowledged us. She seemed to go out of her way to help everyone but us & flirt with the young man next to us that came in 20 min. After us. To the owner you lost our business & who ever else she didnt want to help. We will be letting all know of the no service we didnt get.

Service is horrible..........unfriendly staff. Left drinks empty and bad attitude. Im sorry but i am a local and i will never be back to this small loud hole in the wall bar. And there was hardly anyone there. The dread headed bar tender totally was a put off, maybe he was having a bad day but dont bring that to work please!

We loved this sweet, little bar. Its a hidden gem in Old Town Eureka. We love the classic whiskey cocktails, sazerac, old fashioned, Manhattan, and we were not at all disappointed. We will definitely return on our next visit.

Cute little place with live music. The bartender was awesome! So friendly, & boy can she pour a generous glass of wine. I had a glass of a ocal petite sirah she recommended that was D-licious!

Buddy Reed and the Rio it Ups on a Saturday Night are the best! The bar itself is small, but loaded with atmosphere and nice people.
