A lovely patch of protected verdant nature that lays at the base of the Belmont hills. This beautiful park hosts a large Creek, two moderately sized childrens play structures as well as two quite large BBQ pits with accompanying picnic areas (10+ full sized picnic benches). The large eucalyptus and redwood trees offer a sanctuary of noise insulation which is becoming exceedingly rare nowadays. I find it especially peaceful right before rush hour traffic as a road runs adjacent to the park and coming earlier in the day will guarantee a less noisy atmosphere.

Nice bit of green in the middle of Belmont. Large Reservable picnic area, fenced childrens play area. Limited parking shared with what seemed to be both a summer camp as well as an elder care facility. Restrooms. Dogs have to stay on leash but bags for cleaning up after your furry friend are available. Access road also serves Belmont Police Department as well as City Hall so activities never cease. Some traffic noise but still a nice enough place to eat your bag lunch or spend an hour waiting for an appointment elsewhere.

A gem of a park right behind city hall. Tall trees with a cool under story. Nice benches in quiet areas. A playground for the kids. We found a group hunting Pokemon because there are 4 pokestops in close proximity. Open sun up to sun down.

Wonderful little park. A Pokestop of something must have been near when we first stopped because there were about 50 people staring into their phones who stopped and looked in the direction a a few oak trees. Quite the scene.

The park is bigger than youd think as you approach. Two playgrounds, multiple large picnic areas, creek, and towering trees. If theres a downside, be careful of falling fruit in a few areas (only during autumn).

A great park that feels like a forest. Theres a gated park for kids and an unfenced toddler park past the bridge. There is a creek kids can explore and play by. So many people hunting Pokemon here

Great Pokémon. Put 4 lures together on the 4 pokestops arranged in a square and it will rain magikarps, psyducks, and clefairy. And one or two dratinis, dragonair, odishes. Ponytas always standard.

Not very spacious area. Good for family BBQ. You have walking distance access to Safeway if you need anything during your picnic and BBQ.
