This is a very nice park and camping area (quiet/clean). A lot of history to explore in one spot, but be prepared to deal with mosquitoes. A Walmart is nearby if you need anything. Be sure to check out Grumpy Dog for lunch and take a tour of the Capital in Montgomery.

They have several activities during the year, educational and fun. For me I love, love, love that I can bring my dog. With the several trails, grassy areas, historical points , great place to walk and unwind with your dog.

This is one of my favorite places in this area. Full of history and I enjoy walking the dogs there. You can see where the Coosa and Tallapoosa rivers come together to form the Alabama river

It is just wonderful and peaceful and also it feels that you go back in time when you put your foot on the ground. I just love it
