I visited here on a high school field trip. Coming from an economics class, I was able to interpret and appreciate everything the museum had to offer. The exhibits were very engaging and informative. I feel that overall, this museum helped me to get a better grasp on the way America was created through finance and great minds within it. My favorite part of the museum was the currency exhibit. Here, you are able to get up close and personal with Americas currency from the first bills up to present. You were able to also view each bill individually on a computer screen to learn more about each version. If I could recommend anything to the museum, I would like to see a live stock market chart. TL;DR If you have any interest in money or the nations history and are in the area, stop by and check this place out!

If you can spare 60-90 minutes, you should go to this museum. It is not a famous one such as the MOMA or the Guggenheim. It is actually pretty small as well, yet, I was suprised by it as it offers quite a lot. Situated on Wall Street next to the stock exchange, the museum gives a vast introduction into the world of Finance and how it progressed throughout the years. It has a really nice and detailed exposition on the financial crisis. Furthermore, it shows the lives and describe the job of various investment professionals (broker, trader, Salesmen). Entrance is pretty cheap. I even got in for free as I was there before 11am.

This museum is the vision of one man and it is a phenomenal undertaking. The buildings architecture is enough reason to step foot inside. The exhibits are a bit static, but the entire concept is just getting off the ground. Go and support this mission - Mr. Herzop sees it is our history and, in the right hands, our markets are our strength, the heartbeat of a great nation. Many thanks to Mr. Herzog and his hardworking staff and board! This will become one of the citys jewels in time. Go experience it!

A very pleasant and interesting museum, that describes in a clear, brilliant and even original way the fundamentals of finance, the history of money and of american finance, with a particular focus on the FED and on the important figure of Alexander Hamilton. Everything in the special background of a beautiful building in Wall Street.

You could see more with one Google search than at this museum. The information is not kept up well, there is only one room in one floor, with two small exhibits. I would not waste my time here if I was a tourist, and am disappointed with my decision to go there as a local working in finance.

Brilliant/fascinating museum and great hour+ tour by knowledgeable/articulate/friendly docent Clayton. Allow a couple hours if you want the full experience -- exhibits are comprehensive across time and very detailed. And its not sugar-coated -- plenty bad news and scandals are explained.

Wasnt really sure what to expect at this museum. Has some interesting objects on display but its probably worth getting a tour to have them explained properly. A good place to get some initial context if youre visiting other financial places near Wall St.

Small museum but definitely worth it. We tagged along on the tour and the guides are very knowledgeable and I learnt a lot about the history of banking in America. Ive never really been interested in this and I learnt a lot, everything is very clear

The museum has a very nice collection of coins and paper money, and also hosts a number of interesting guest speakers. This past winter, for example, Robert Shiller spoke for an hour or two about his new book.

Instructive museum, especially for people who arent accustomed to finance. There are also some games to entertain kids, and the shop is well supplied.
