Tihsreed Lodge, is a beautiful log cabin styled, luxury retreat a few minutes outside of Florissant. I cant believe you could find more welcoming owners than Don and Toni. We brought grandparents, three of their children and spouses and 18 grandchildren to stay on their property for a week in September. With the use of the Lodge and the Apartment, there were beds and bathrooms for all, a kitchen large enough for many people to prepare meals together, and enough space for us all to eat together as well, without even having to spread to the additional table on the lower level. The kitchen was compete with everything we needed to prepare and serve multiple gourmet meals for the entire group. (We did borrow silverware from the apartment to accommodate the number of us.) The arrangement of rooms on the separate floors permitted us to spread out where the sleepers who needed quiet and more privacy could be set up, and the availability of so many full baths off the bedrooms was more than ideal. The property is very clean and meticulously taken care of, yet, the owners seemed welcoming of the children staying in their home. Not all vocation rentals have this attitude. Toni even spent one morning talking to the kids all about the natural surroundings. The property itself lends itself to many walks and time spent outdoors, but its proximity to so many activities saw us heading out everyday for another adventure. Never did we have to drive more than an hour, usually only 15 min or so, to see the Florissant fossil beds and petrified forest, Cave of the Winds, the drive up Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Meuller State park, fishing and hiking at another state park close by, Cripple Creek and its awesome Heritage Center and steam engine..... you will only be disappointed you didnt plan a longer stay. I would definitely recommend this property to others. The only thing worth mentioning, is you may want to bring shoes that are easy on, easy off for anyone not old enough to tie their own shoes, as no shoes are permitted in the lodge.

What a wonderful place to vacation at! Don and Toni are extremely helpful in making you feel very welcomed and their pride of ownership shows in their home. They have planned very well in making all the rooms feel very comfortable. They provide you with many options in what you can do during your stay and provided great customer service. This home sits in a central location where you can easily be in Colorado Springs within 30 to 45 minutes and can also go down to Old Colorado City, Cannon City and many other fun places. The property is extremely clean and taken care of, the layout is extremely nice. With the full kitchen in place we did a lot of cooking and enjoying nature. I would highly recommend this home for anyone that is looking for a place to go out and relax or to party.

From the moment we pulled up to Tihsreed Lodge we were in total amazement. We had 8 adults and 9 kids and there was tons of room for us to do everything from sleeping to having family dinners together. Toni and Don were just as great as the Lodge they helped us navigate the land around the lodge and also helped us with good advice on places to use for our many outings such as rafting, ATV rental, horse back riding, when to go to Pikes Peak for the best views, and good advice on where to visit and where we could eat. Every aspect of our vacation was amazing and I cant wait until we can return to Tihsreed Lodge.

Just had my wedding at the TihsreeD Lodge, and I couldnt have asked for a more perfect venue for the event. The main lodge is Huge, beautiful, and so comfortable! We had 90 guests and there was plenty of room. The barn, the lodge, and the cabin were enjoyed by all. Toni and Don were very accommodating and so Very helpful along the way to any and all of our needs working with us every step of the way. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I dont plan on getting married again but I would definitely use this place again for a family reunion or whatever gathering i can think of!

This place is SPECTACULAR! The home would be beautiful in any setting, but add the panoramic view of Pikes Peak and other mountains and it is unbeatable. Our son is a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy and we were up for Parents weekend. We biked, hiked, did some sightseeing and had wonderful family times together. The view at night from the hot tube was breathtaking. This six bedroom home is beautiful and accommodates a large group wonderfully! The owner made our time comfortable and was very helpful when we had questions. We will definitely be back to Tihsreed!

I just celebrated my wedding at TihsreeD Lodge and I am so happy this was the location we picked! We had 90 guests who all felt welcome, comfortable, and were amazed by the beauty of the location. Tony and Don helped every step of the way, anywhere an extra hand was needed. Our wedding day coordinators, caterer, and photographer had everything they needed. It all made for a stress free wedding day! I could focus on the important things...like saying I Do and dancing the night away! The venue is warm, cozy and perfect for a mountain getaway!!

I recently had my rustic Colorado wedding at Tihsreed and couldnt report a better experience. The owners Don and Toni really go out of their way to accommodate and ensure a wonderful experience. The facilities are beautiful and the views cannot be beat. If you are interested in booking a rustic Colorado wedding with accommodations for the entire family, in a beautiful setting this is absolutely the place. Would highly recommend!

We rented the lodge for our small family wedding in December. It was absolutely beautiful. I couldnt have asked for a better place to get married. Don and Toni the owners are so sweet and kind. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a private getaway for a special place for a family event or wedding.

Lovely homes, great space for a large family reunion or medium sized wedding. The Lodge and The Cabin are beautiful homes: well cared for, clean, perfect and comfortable. The property is huge with a park like feel. Toni and Don are helpful, but seem to disappear until you need them.
