Incredible facility, displays, and people! I had never heard of this museum, but luckily found it by Google map surfing during a layover in Denver. Awesome range of vintage aircraft in incredible condition, though the majority of the airframes no longer had their engines. I love the Century Series fighters, so stumbling upon this place that has them all was a dream come true. In addition to the rockets and aircraft (which includes ordinance!), there are many special displays that you will only see at a really historic museum, such as a huge displays of uniforms, flight suits, helmets, nose art, etc.! The best thing I experienced at the museum, however, was the staff -- which included a number of veterans of the Air Force. Whether they were pilots or not, they gave you the low down on what you were looking at. It was a pleasure to speak with them and I really wished I could just hang out and probe them for stories of their service. If you dig military aviation, this is an absolute must-do on your next trip to Denver.

This place is awesome. Here seeing Trump. I have to say. The back end of the Trump Rally. It was amazing, time. I got to go behind the scenes. Where it all happens, The men and women In Blue. And the Secret service agents. i told them they are "badass". I never felt more safe. No bad feeling, peaceful protesters. And everyone went home safe. even The Donald should be allowed to go home to his family. to fight another day. You would think. the reputation that follows Trump. Why would they let people in a place. Where these collectible could have been broken, or someone could have gotten hurt. And i see that this was a very well orchestrated event. And Im proud to Live In Denver. The planes and other military collectables. Are spectacular for those who ever dreamed of flying the military bombers, and fighter planes. It a magnificent place to see, visit and live out an experience that you will get your money worth. MAN-G!

My family and I visited Wings Over the Rockies today and were pretty disappointed, not to mention disgusted with how rude one of their workers was to us inside the hanger. In a nut shell, I dont believe you get what you pay for. For two adults and two children the price was $34. The B52 outside was covered up with plastic and didnt look very nice at all...there were workers doing some sort of job on it. Inside, there were at least three different exhibits that were closed or unavailable, but nothing was said about that at the admissions desk before we paid. With that being said, the 8 minute video by Harrison Ford you can watch upon entering is well put together and has spectacular views of airplanes flying around the Rockies. The B1 bomber is probably the highlight of their planes, but for the price, there arent enough aircraft to make it worth it. Disappointing and not recommended.

We recently went to visit the museum this past weekend. We had looked on the website and it said that Saturday was cockpit demo day. We wanted to see this so we planned to attend during the times that this was offered. When we arrived we were even told by the front desk that it was still going on. Once we paid the fee and entered this was not the case. All of the stairs were roped off and we were unable to access them to see the cockpits. If this was not the case the website shouldnt advertise that it happens from a certain time to an ending time. And the staff should be more aware of what is going on and communicate more. We drove an hour and a half and are completely dissatisfied and unhappy. We will not be returning.

Such a disappointment! Having been to the Seattle Museum of Flight and Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum I guess I had high expectations. Wings Over the Rockies has just a handful of planes and some old boring info taped to the wall and other than that its a total mess. Boxes, tools, garbage, youre not sure if youre supposed to be looking at something or if its just junk they have piled in the corner. They were also setting up for a private event that night and really made us feel like we were just in their way. We were in and out in 25 minutes. Was not a good use of money, didnt learn anything, would not recommend.

Stopped in one afternoon while in town. Glad we visited because this is definitely an interesting museum to explore! It was great to see aircraft and the technologies supporting aviation from across the ages. There are some amazing planes in the main room and the staff were very helpful. Spoke with Chuck, who used to fly for Continental, and he shared some great information with my friend and myself about the simulators on display. He was very friendly and happy to share his knowledge with us. If I were to come back to Denver, I would visit this museum again!

I came with a large group of kids to this place and the customer service was horrible. There were 14 of us that wanted to do the flight simulator. Its already bad enough that you have to pay $7.50 per person just to do it. So we waited in line just to find out two other people had reservation time which were no where to be found to do the simulator. So the lady that ran the simulator turned down 14 paying customers to wait for two time slots that people had that didnt even show up. I will definitely not be back to this place.

Slightly underwhelming if youve been to the A&S museums in DC, but fantastic nonetheless. Greater focus on AF aircraft, though there are some examples of Naval Fighters as well. They also have one of 3 remaining 3/4 scale X-wing models created for the Special Editions in the 90s. Beautiful Memorial to the Airmen lost during WWII, created by a WWII veteran for his buddies. Also a bunch of space memorabilia.

I was in one of the very last electronics classes when Lowry was still an AFB. I left in 1993 right before it closed officially. I was so impressed what was done with Lowry. Rather than let it turn into a decrepit wasteland, a beautiful community was built, one that kept the heritage of the USAF as part of the community. I was in awe. Kudos Denver for this gift.

This place is amazing. I would highly recommend it. I took my wife and 3 small children to it today. We had a great time. The collection of aircraft is amazing. They also have cockpit displays, military jets, civilian jets, and the famed X wing fighter. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. This is a great museum and extremely family friendly.

Went to satisfy my curiousity. WORASM is one of the best aviation museums in the region. I saw a B52, B1, F4 and an X-wing from Star Wars. Definitely a place to take the kids during spring break or some weekend when youre looking for something to do. They even have a few flight simulators so your children can fly a jet. A great history of aviation. Go see it.

The special exhibit ticket was a waste of money, they didnt check it at the entrance to the exhibit. The announcement of the movie showing was hard to hear in the hangar, and I didnt know where it was, or that I could enter after the movie started. I did, however, like their selection of aircraft and side exhibits
