So, far at the Kroc center its been one thing after another. First when I went to purchase days at the Kroc center for my child the person ringing me up for my purchase didnt know what she was doing and double charged me for extended care, and then she was embarrassed by her co-worker that just took over and made her feel bad for making a mistake. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Then I went to drop my child off for one of their half day field trips and the "program director" for the camps argued with me in front of my child and other parents that the extended care on half day field trip days were different then whole day field trip days. After looking at the "Kroc Center Summer Guide" there was nothing stated that there was any difference between the full day field trip day and half day field trip day extended care as the person who argued with me stated. After reviewing the guide again on page 12 under extended care policy it states "Extended care is available to parents who need earlier drop off/later pick up times. Extended care allows parents to drop off as early as 7:30am and pick up as late as 6pm." Now, at this point my child has already been to 2 half day field trips without anything being said to me about the extended care being different for half day field trips, and on top of that the day before this half day field trip an employee of the Kroc center actually called me to verify that my child was still coming to the field trip (the first time that, that had ever happened) and I told them that she would be there all day starting at 7:30am because she was in the extended day care as well as the field trip and still wasnt made aware that there was any difference. Now theyre trying to say that my child may not be able to attend the last half day field trip because of this extended care issue because Im unable to drop her off later and pick her up earlier (THE WHOLE REASON I PURCHASED EXTENDED CARE) because I cant be late and leave my work early to do that. I will NEVER be signing my child up for ANYTHING with this facility EVER again due to there poor customer service and unprofessional demeanor. Its very unfortunate that my child has to suffer because of the miscommunication and misconduct of the people who work at the Kroc center. No names were provided to protect their identities, but they know who they are.

Staff is utterly helpless and clueless. The place is dangerous for this reason. People ignore the lifeguards and the lifeguards dont step up. I watched a full grown man launch himself over the lazy river wall and land on some poor kid (not his own). Lifeguards blew their whistle. Dude ignored them. Nothing more happened. Absolutely zero weight room etiquette. I got up from my bench and some guy put his dirty foot right where my head was to tie his shoe. I looked him in the eye and sprayed the spot down. He smiled. 5 minutes later a guy and his girlfriend took every 15 lb and 12.5 lb dumbbell in the weight room (two sets of each weight) and left to do aerobics leaving an entire rack empty. Its a free for all in there and someone is going to get seriously hurt. Last weekend there were 13 year old boys in the weight room acting like... well 13 year old boys. Again no one did anything. I am 45. I have been a member of a gym on and off since I was 15. I am a veteran and have always tried to stay fit and in the gym (because I like to live), so I spent a lot of time in one gym or another from Miami to Seattle. This is far and away the worst facility I have ever been to. Its dirty. Staff is unhelpful. Other members are downright rude if not in your face about something. Its dangerous. The only thing I can say nice is that they have a lap pool thats usually kept up ok and there are usually lanes for lap swim.

The staff at the pool and the Coordinator are irresponsible and unresponsive to customer concerns. I was walking in the river and a. Hold was screaming for help. Long story short, his arms stopped flapping and he started taking water. I lifted him up and had to demand that a "lifeguard" come over and find the toddlers parents. A couple of days later, I entered the mens locker room and there was a six to seven year old girl in there with, my guess is, her father and brother. I asked a staff person for the manager, to whom I described the incident and said that I dont want to see girls in the mens locker room. Her response was "they dont want to see you either." I pressed the issue, asking if they could put up a sign that reminds people of the rules and was told that signage was not her job. A girl, who was, I guess a low level supervisor, said "thanks for letting us know" and indicated the conversation was over. Today, I was in the hot tub and a young person came in with an adult. I didnt say anything, but did ask when I left the hot tub what the age limit was...I was informed 14. This child was not 14, but I let it go and went into the mens locker room where there was an. Infant screaming bloody murder. At least it was a boy! Otherwise, my experiences in this facility have been wonderful.

Weve been Kroc members for a couple years now and love it. My kids (5,3,1) have so much fun and love when we say were heading there. The childcare is great and know your child by name. The activities they have for kids (Fit Kids, Toddler Tuesday, etc) are fantastic and my kids love joining in! The fitness center is always clean and tidy and machines in good working order. Pool is big, clean and fun. Lifeguards tend to be on the more serious side (but thats theyre job - theyre making sure lives are safe) and Im guessing most of these negative reviews about the pool are from young men who dont understand why you cant be horsing around at a pool with several other people swimming. My one small complaint is that it can be tough to find out information about different activities. They come out with a quarterly magazine with info but most info in there is pretty vague and you have to do your own hunting around to find out more info. I wish info was more readily available instead of always saying, "Call blah blah blah for more info!" But. Thats a small complaint overall. :)

Nice facilities and good temperature of pool and hot tub! Clean and looks nice! The pool is really all I saw. The reason I didnt give 5 star review: Customer service training is really lacking. I went for the first time a few weeks ago and I had no clue about anything, I expected that someone would of told us the rules of the place or what was offered but instead I got no information or membership sales info. Front desk person seems annoyed that I wanted to spend my money there. Some of the life guards seems very devoted to watching swimmers while others were flirting and being completely unprofessional with a pool full of people. The only positive experience between an employee was when I finally asked the life guard what each pools rules were because theyre not posted anywhere and I didnt want me or my son to get in trouble.
